We met through our amazing friend Kristina (bridesmaid, matchmaker, and all-around legend). Thanks to her, what started as a simple introduction quickly turned into something special. Our first date? The South Florida Fair, where Courtney grabbed a corn dog and Mike won her a stuffed animal. Cute, right? Courtney had just moved to West Palm Beach for work—without that leap, this wedding wouldn’t be happening! What followed were lots of laughs, late-night talks, weekend adventures, and a love that felt easy from the start. We’re still living in Florida, but when it came time to plan the wedding, we knew Wisconsin was the place. Why? It’s where Mike pulled off the sweetest surprise proposal at one of Courtney’s favorite wineries. With the help of her sister MacKenzie, best friend Hannah, and a surprise appearance from Kristina and Best Man John (yes, they both flew in!), he popped the question—and Courtney said yes through happy tears (and maybe a sip of wine & mini corn dogs). Now, we go back to the South Florida Fair every year—for memories, laughs, and of course, that corn dog tradition. We're counting down to May 8, 2026, where we’ll celebrate in true Wisconsin fashion—with Spotted Cow, cheese, and the people we love most. We can’t wait to share this next chapter with you. ❤️
