Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Kiddos are absolutely welcome. (And if you’re leaning toward a kid-free night, we wholeheartedly support that too). If kids are joining, feel free to bring snacks, coloring books, and anything that helps them enjoy the evening too.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’d love for everyone to have a date, but our venue is quite small and we’re at capacity. If your invitation didn’t include a plus one, please don’t bring additional guests.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is street parking available, but it tends to fill up quickly. We highly recommend carpooling or using a rideshare (Uber or Lyft). Your best bet is to Uber or Lyft to the ceremony. They’re usually easy, affordable and super reliable in Minneapolis.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:30pm, and we suggest arriving around 4:15pm so you have time to settle in, take a breath, and find your seat before things begin.

Question

Can I bring or send a gift? Why don’t you have a registry?

Answer

We know many of you are traveling, taking PTO, and spending real money just to be with us . . . and that already feels like a very generous gift. We do not expect gifts! We also don’t have a registry because, frankly, we don’t need more stuff. (If you’ve seen our apartment, you understand.) What we’re really excited about is time together: shared meals, good conversation, and experiences with people we love. So, if giving a gift feels important, we would be grateful for it to be an experience . . . like you taking us to one of your favorite restaurants in the coming year or a contribution to our travel fund.
