FAQs

Here are some top questions we thought folks might have. If you have any other questions or concerns, though, please feel free to reach out to either Nicole or Matt directly.
Question

1. When should I RSVP for the wedding?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 12, 2026. If we have not received your RSVP we will assume that you are not able to make it and so will celebrate with you in spirit.

Question

2. Are our kids welcome at the wedding?

Answer

We would be honored to have your children join us for the wedding ceremony. Following the ceremony, however, the reception will be an adult-focused celebration, and only attendance of children of the family and wedding party have been anticipated. We kindly ask that you consider this when making your plans and welcome any questions you may have about invitations.

Question

3. What is the dress code for the wedding and reception?

Answer

Semi-formal is the dress code. Please dress as you would if you were attending church on a holiday or going to a nice concert.

Question

4. What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at St. Peter's Pro-Cathedral at least 15 minutes before Mass since we will begin promptly at 3 pm. If unforeseen circumstances delay your arrival until after we have begun, please wait at the rear of the church until instructed to be seated.

Question

5. What time should I arrive at the reception following the wedding?

Answer

You can arrive at the Omni Hotel's Magnolia Room (1st floor, just inside the reception area) for the reception beginning around 5 pm, when cocktail hour starts.

Question

6. Where should I park for both the wedding and the reception?

Answer

There are two public parking garages directly across from St. Peter's Pro-Cathedral: one at 112 N. 8th St. (Pivot Parking) and another across 8th street at 111 N. 8th St. (St. Paul's Episcopal Church Garage). Street parking is also generally available (but not guaranteed) nearby. Parking decks are available on both sides of the Omni at 125 S. 10th St. (the other, western side of the James Center from the Omni) and 110 S. 13th St. (across the street east of the hotel), and valet parking is available directly below the Omni. Street parking is also available (but not guaranteed) near the hotel.

Question

7. Is there transportation offered between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We have not arranged for a shuttle between the ceremony and the reception to best accommodate each guest-group's individual needs. Plus, the two venues are close, a 2 min. drive and 12 min. walk from each other. If you have concerns about going from one venue to another, feel free to contact us.

Question

8. Where can I find your wedding registry/where are you registered?

Answer

In lieu of a traditional wedding registry, Nicole and Matt welcome contributions to their Bora-Bora Honeymoon fund. Thank you in advance but most of all for celebrating our wedding with us!
