Wedding Party

Kristin Brown

Matron of Honor

Kristin and I met in kindergarten at St. Thomas the Apostle (can't hide that STA pride!). Our mom's planned a play date for us and the rest is history. We became the sisters we didn't have, doing everything together from sports to homework (which meant chatting on AOL instant messenger) to memorizing Jay-Z and Eminem rap lyrics just so we could look really cool (not sure that ever worked). We have been through so many adventures together and I couldn't imagine this next adventure without her by my side as my main girl.

Shawn Fox

Best Man

As my older (and only) brother, Shawn played a large influence in my upbringing. As someone who prefers to spend much of his free time in the outdoors, Shawn has taken me on numerous adventures; hiking, fishing, camping, biking, golfing and one very long walk down the Grand Canyon and back. Plus, I wouldn't have my refined musical tastes if it weren't for Shawn (1980's hair metal and grunge rock). There was never a second guess that Shawn would be my Best Man.

Jenny McKone

Bridesmaid

It all started with the Madison swim team, where our moms, Mary & Jeri, coordinated our BFF destiny by making us carpool one summer right before the 3rd grade. We found out we had a lot in common: our love of swimming (or maybe just flirting with the boys on our swim team), McDonald’s chicken nuggets, and we can’t forget the most important one of all: beanie babies. That fateful summer sealed the deal on our friendship for decades to come.

Patrick Kruer

Groomsman

One of my oldest and closest friends, Patrick is the kind of friend where I can send him a random thought from 25 years ago and he'll know immediately what I'm talking about. We've played D&D for hours on end, have gone to countless concerts together (heavy metal!), and even played in the same band during our 9th grade talent show (we traded off intro and outro guitar solos in our rendition of Metallica's "Fade to Black"). We can have entire conversations in experienced-based metaphors, leaving others scratching their heads (I could drop some here, but trust me, no one would understand). I look forward to more random encounters together!

Lauren Hendricks

Bridesmaid

I met Lauren through a mutual friend while in the 8th grade and I immediately wanted to be her friend, I thought she was so cool! Well, I guess the feeling was mutual because we became best friends freshman year of high school and never looked back. From our high school days to our post-college roommate days, our good times and many bad decisions, we've been through a lot together and I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. Just don't ask us to drink Captain & Coke.

Steven Jacober

Groomsman

Another one of my longest and closest friends, Steven has always been the fearless "funny-guy" of the group (like that one time he shaved the top of his head in Jr. High to complete his "Disgruntled, Balding Post Man" Halloween costume). Steven also rocked out with Patrick and I during the 9th grade talent show (slappin' da bass), and played his D&D twin characters "Egg" and "Nog" with delight. As the first in our group to become a true family man, I've always looked up to Steven as a husband and father.

Kristin Boyd

Bridesmaid

Not only did we grow up together, Kris and I lived together in our mid-20s. We spent many week nights on the patio, after long days at work, discussing what we wanted to be when we grew up, spurring a ton of ideas on future businesses (and look how that paid off for our favorite candle maker!). I'll forever miss our kitchen dance parties, Friday happy hours, HBO marathons, and most of all living with two of my best friends - East Elm K's!

Keir Leos

Groomsman

As one of the three of my longest and closest friends, Kerry was the one who introduced me to punk rock (No Water Outside aka AFI), anime (does anyone even know what Ranma 1/2 is these days?), and of course is another lifelong dungeon crawler. Arguably one of the smartest people I know, he currently resides in Austria "calculating monthly ambient dose equivalent values for aircrew due to cosmic radiation exposure" (let's just call him a rocket scientist). As a sponsor of the ARK, he hosted endless events for us in Flagstaff during his NAU days (bacon parties on bacon parties). Kerry continues to amaze me to this day!

Caitlin Caval

Bridesmaid

Caitlin and I met freshman year of high school during volleyball camp / tryouts before school officially started. 1) She dominated 2) I did not 3) That doesn't matter because we became best friends anyways! From rocking the jean skirt, to our San Diego summers, starting random dance parties anywhere we went, quoting our favorite movies, (I could go on), Caitlin and I were constantly having the best time together.

Aaron Thompson

Groomsman

I've gotten to know Aaron over the years since Kate and I started dating, as he and his sister are quite close (deal with it you two). We've spent a few summers in San Diego together, hitting up The Pennant and Beachcomber, and of course, Sara's, for some late night Mexican cuisine. Aaron is always fun to be around, and while he might have questionable taste in collegiate sports (Go ASU!), I look forward to gaining him as a brother!

Mary Thompson

Bridesmaid

Growing up without a sister, you can imagine how happy I was when Mary officially became my sister-in-law a few years ago. I knew she would fit right into our family (I mean her name for starters) when she came out to San Diego for the first time and was able to hang with the Thompson siblings - that's not so easy sometimes, and entertained the photography contest between Nate and myself (she understood our competitive nature), and most of all, was able to just lay on the beach for hours upon hours (my favorite thing!).

Nathan Thompson

Groomsman

Similar with his brother Aaron, it's been great getting to know Nathan over the last few years. I first met Nathan at Talking Stick Resort Casino, where I conversely lost as much money as he gained. This scenario would be repeated years later at the MGM Far Harbor in DC to see a Cardinals/Redskins game (maybe we shouldn't gamble together). I've always appreciated Nathan's dedication to his (growing) family, and his business smarts and ethics, and I look forward to calling him brother!

Addison Shahdadi

Junior Bridesmaid

I've had the pleasure of getting to know Addison (Zac's niece) this past year after they moved to Phoenix, and she is just a joy to be around. We've spent a lot of time together playing with L.O.L. dolls, fingerlings, beanie boos (I'm learning about all the new toys these days).

Aidan Shahdadi

Junior Usher

The oldest of my sister Ryall's three kids, Aidan is a talented young man with a bright future. Aidan is a video game enthusiast (what kid isn't), and has a true talent for photography (hopefully he'll capture some amazing nature shots up in Sedona!). I look forward to seeing what the future brings and what he makes of it!

Sadie Fox

Junior Bridesmaid

Sadie is Zac's niece (the Best Man's daughter) and will be joining Addison as a Junior Bridesmaid. Sadie lives in California but we love to spend time with Sadie and Shawn when they come out to Phoenix.

Ethan Shahdadi

Junior Usher

The younger of my sister Ryall's two boys, Ethan is also a video game enthusiast (he's a Zelda pro), who has an affinity for cooking (ask him about being the sous chef for his Saint Francis pop up restaurant). Ethan is another talented young kid who has a bright future, and I can't wait to see what he does with it!

Paige Thompson

Flower Girl

Paige made me an official Auntie in February 2017 and I couldn't be more excited for her to be a flower girl. We've spent a lot of time together coloring, playing with play-doh, running, watching Bubble Guppies, putting bows in her hair, reading her favorite books, and practicing her flower girl duties.

Adeline Brown

Flower Girl

Addie holds a very special place in my heart; she's my first goddaughter and our wedding wouldn't be the same without her walking down the aisle as a flower girl. I've had the pleasure of watching Addie grow up in these short 3 years, witnessing her become a mini boss lady, being the best big sister to Brixton, cracking up over nothing, and being the cutest girly girl loving her pretty dresses.

Adam Kmak

Usher

Adam is a hilarious guy who (whom?) I share a sense of humor with. We met a few years back at a house party when he just started dating Lauren, and we've been goofing around since. I respect his dedication to the game of golf (be on the lookout for when he wins the PGA Championship), and I'm happy that he's the one other person who actually knows that PUBG is (aside from my nephews). Always have a great time with him, especially when Swedish Fish are involved.

Taylor Brown

Usher

Tay is another dedicated family man, and someone who has a great sense of humor (and taste in music). He's always good for a cold brew, or a hot Pasta Heidi. As Kristin's husband, we've been to countless parties and drank countless Bud Lights and/or Award Winning IPAs together (hey, we're not picky).

Tommy McKone

Usher

Tommy is as energetic as they come - and knows how to make people feel included (future politician??). Tommy and his wife Jenny are always a blast to hang out with, which we've done many, many times! Tommy is hilarious, and can always be counted on to bring the energy up in the room (better be out on the dance floor, my brother).
