Lauren's big sister! Jessica welcomed me into the world by throwing a hairbrush at my head and telling my Mom to take me back to the hospital. I then spent my toddler years following her around begging her to play with me. Between then and now we have worked through our teenage sibling rivalry and become amazingly close. I can always count on Jess to bring up a good memory I had long forgotten, to provide me a level head when mine is spinning, and to make me laugh until I cry. Having had the privilege of being her Maid of Honor, I couldn't imagine anyone else in those shoes for my big day. I love you Grapey! Jess lives in Goleta, CA with her husband David.
Mike Miller

Mike and Phil grew up in Edmonton together, attending the same junior high and high school. Fuelled by their love of the Oilers and craft beer they have stayed close friends. They’ve driven across Vermont in search of beer, trudged through a blizzard in Montreal, honked the honk and tonked the tonk in Nashville just to name a few. Mike currently lives in Edmonton, AB.

Britt and I met at Townsend Jr. HIgh School on dance team. We spent many a Saturday in our teenage years dressing up in spandex and sequins, hair full of aerosol spray and faces covered in glitter. Her personality is electric, the kind of friend people gravitate towards. She is intelligent, hilarious and beautiful. Having been friends for well over half our lives, we have been through it all together. Brittani lives in Ontario, CA with her husband Jon and their daughter Madison.

Aaron and Phil met some 20 years ago and bonded over B movies and general mayhem causing. We have a million inside jokes. Think dad jokes in human form. Will definitely crack you up with his tall tales, long yarns and one liners. Woof! Aaron currently lives in Edmonton, AB
Joanne Grant

Joanne grew up in New Jersey but I try not to hold it against her. She is a dear friend but more importantly, she makes the best damn croissant I have ever tasted. When we met my sophomore year of college I remember knowing instantly she was someone I wanted to be good friends with. I could have never imagined just how close we would become. In the happy moments she matches my joy and excitement. Through the tough times she lends her shoulder and cries with me. It's been a real ride and I look forward to all that is still to come. Joanne lives in Brooklyn with her husband Duncan, their son Knox and a little bun in the oven!

Al and Phil went to elementary together and stayed friends since. Their love of travel, mountain lodges and again...the Oilers has kept them in constant connection. Al is your go-to for hiking trail gems and usually good for a goal or two once the smelling salts kick in. Al currently lives in Edmonton, AB and recently married his wife Liane!

Michelle and I also met on our Jr. High dance team. Her, Brittani and I have pretty much been a package deal since the 8th grade. We share a love of food and have been known to drive as long as it takes to feed a specific craving. She is the type of friend who always makes time to listen and give advice when I most need it. Seriously...she would walk out of a restaurant, a club, a movie, just to chat and make sure I'm ok. When life gets too stressful and I find myself daydreaming of my happy place it's beside a bonfire pit in Huntington Beach with Michelle, Brittani and s’mores. SCC for life! Nick and Phil play beer league together...we’re an awful team but great line mates. He’s the best right wing you could ask for. Don’t hold it against him that he’s a Devils fan, it’s better than cheering for the Flames after all. Nick lives in Brooklyn, NY with his girlfriend Angie.

Hali and I met in the residents halls at UMass Amherst my freshman year. Though I only stayed that one year, after our first week hanging out I knew we would be lifelong friends. Maybe it was our shared love of Kraft Mac and Cheese, our desire to always be the first and last ones on the dance floor or the fact that we can be completely ourselves with each other. I look forward to being little old ladies together dancing our geriatric bums off. Hali lives in Ludlow, MA with her husband Jonathan and their baby Lincoln.

Phil’s cousin. Farmer, goalie, hop grower, handy as hell, great story teller, general great guy to have in your corner. Phil and Nate cruise the Ottawa river, drink beers while listening to the Hip and reflect on life, hockey and sometimes nothing at all. Nathan lives in Beachburg, ON
Cresta Smith

Hailing from Portsmouth, NH originally, Cresta now lives in Brooklyn, NY. We met while working together at Hearth in NYC's East Village. We hadn't known each other long when she offered me a room in her apartment. Soon we were spending most nights eating on the kitchen floor, sharing a bottle of wine and talking endlessly. She was there for the beginning of it all with Phil. The very first time she met him, he went to the bathroom and she turned to me and gushed about how great he was. With Cresta I can be 100% myself and that's something to be valued. She has been a huge support for both Phil and I throughout our relationship and we love her to death!

Duncan and Phil met in passing through various industry friends (thanks Wong!) until they firmly became friends since he’s now married to Joanne, one of Lauren’s besties. We share our love for craft beers, hockey, and forever planning a snowboard trip (maybe this year?!) Duncan lives in Brooklyn with his wife Joanne and their son Knox.
