Proof of vaccination will be required to participate in all activities including attending the wedding. That will include the party at Terroir on Wednesday and the Welcome Event at Foxfire on Friday Evening. If you are visiting NYC before the wedding, vaccinations are required for nearly all indoor activities including restaurants, bars and museums. For the Wedding Ceremony and Reception: Guests will need to send proof of vaccination. Our wedding planner Bridget will be in contact with information on how to submit vaccination records/cards. Masks are not currently required on property at Foxfire. However if you feel more comfortable wearing one please feel free to. We sincerely thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Planning a wedding during a pandemic has been quite the life experience. Looking forward to celebrating safely with you all.
We prefer Cocktail Attire. The ceremony will be outside and it may get chilly after the sun sets.
Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately!) this is a kid free wedding. While we love all of your amazing children, we are unable to include them for the ceremony and reception. We appreciate your understanding as this was not an easy decision for us.
No, we actually ask that you don’t drive if you don’t have to. There will be shuttles set up from the hotels on our list of accommodations. Information for the shuttle times will be provided closer to the date. There is a very limited number of parking spots available at Foxfire so if you are planning to drive yourself please check with us first as there may not be room for your car.
A rental car is the only way to get directly up there. You can also take a bus from Port Authority and either rent a car once you get up or find friends to carpool with for the weekend! With a lot of guests coming from the same areas a car pool is also a great option!
The Albany airport is much closer at 1+ hour driving time and they have plenty of rental car options.
Yes and no. Cell phone reception is patchy upstate so you may be able to find an Uber or cab to get there but finding a ride back may be hard. There will be shuttles with return service after the reception though. The front desk at your hotel should be able to help with suggestions on getting around!
Mt. Tremper has some options for lodging. Outside of that there is Phoenicia and Boiceville. We encourage you to use our suggested lodging options as the shuttles won’t be stopping at airbnb locations.
Please let us know where you are staying so we can try and coordinate shuttle service. It won’t be heading to Woodstock and is currently only going to Phoenicia and Mt.Tremper area hotels. They will be picking guests up as well as dropping them back at their accommodation. We don’t have parking available for anyone so to avoid being refused a space please contact us before hand for other options.
