Maid of Honor
Second easiest decision (after saying yes) was asking my twin sister to be my Maid of Honor. She is my best friend and better half.. after all she was my wombmate from the very beginning! I couldn't imagine doing life without her. Ellen has the biggest heart of anyone I know and her passion for the Lord and serving others is unreal. Fun fact: we both work at EY!
Best Man
Band nerds together from the beginning. Taylor and I have survived all of our 'coolest' stages together from high school to college and beyond. It is awesome to watch one of your close friends live out their potential - I know Taylor will be an amazing lawyer and friend for life. Glad to have him on retainer for the future...
Bridesmaid
She has been one of my very best friends since we met in 8th grade! We've gone through middle and high school together and lived together at UGA for two years. Christina ventured out to Arizona but is now living in Atlanta. She's always down for a good time and is one of the most loyal people I know!
Best Man
Driven, principled and a total goofball, Drew and I have been friends for nearly 2 decades. Nearly every story from growing up in Johnson City features Drew as a main character. I am overjoyed he has recently joined us in Charlotte to be a part of our adult lives.
Bridesmaid
Gracie is my other sister-in-law to be! She is at UNC Chapel Hill and is the smartest and most kind human I know. She is the little sister I never had and I absolutely LOVE her passionate, silly and joyful soul. She's always looking to make everyone happy and brings so much light to people's lives.
Groomsman
Will is the little brother I never had. I'm constantly amazed at his quick whit, genuine demeanor and strong work ethic. It's awesome to look forward to future family gatherings. I couldn't have pulled off the perfect proposal without him and Savannah's help!
Bridesmaid
Lauren is my beautiful soon to be sister-in-law and I could not be more excited and happy about it! Lauren lives in Raleigh, NC and I think has the best job in the world.. Executive Director of HopeLine crisis intervention in Raleigh and is currently in school at Liberty to get her counseling degree! Lauren is the rock of her sweet family and someone I sincerely look up to.
Groomsman
Turns out Mike and I had more in common than Clemson Beta, mechanical engineering and soccer. Majority of my best college memories start with 'this one time at the chimney ridge house' with Mike as my roommate. Awesome to have lived together after college as well, I can credit Mike with a major influence on my decision to move to Charlotte after school. Can't wait to live out our next stage of life as old married dudes in the same city.
Bridesmaid
Kate and I met freshman year in college! We rushed the same sorority and soon realized that our high schools were only about 20 minutes apart from each other (like everyone at UGA), so we'd get together often over breaks. We were roommates in the Tri Delt house and made some of the most unforgettable memories. She was the best sister prez and is just as ambitious today as she was 10 years ago.. aka skiing almost every weekend (and currently living) in Denver!
Groomsman
Adam has a unique talent to bring everyone together. Whether it is Clemson football, the Charlotte social scene, or a London pub, it is impossible to attend an event without an interaction with Adam. We're thrilled he is moving back to the US so his infamous facetime calls are in the same time zone from now on.
Bridesmaid
Funny story... Katelyn and I met at a LifeGroup connect meeting at Forest Hill in 2016. We joined the same group with several other girls and really hit it off because we both were from Georgia and were the same year at UGA. After talking we realized that we had actually messaged each other about potentially being roommates freshman year, but ended up with other people! She has been one of my closest friends in CLT especially since there aren't too many dawgs in the Queen City. She also has a heart of pure gold.
Groomsman
The doctor will see you now. Although Matt went to my rival high school, we have managed to put aside our differences and keep up with all things Clemson football, outdoors and beyond. You can recognize the smile and laugh anywhere, I'm extremely grateful for his friendship. Just hope his dance moves don't make an appearance anytime soon.
Bridesmaid
Tarra and I met January of 2015 at a Restaurant Week dinner in Charlotte through our mutual friend Gina. We immediately hit it off and have been friends ever since. Tarra is the local yogee (teacher) and food blogger you might see around the Queen City! She has been a huge part of making this city feel more like home.
Groomsman
The three bedrooms in my house are as follows: master bedroom, Zeke's room and Charlie's room. My 3rd roommate, Charlie is a never ending source of entertainment and way too supportive of my half-baked home improvement projects.
Bridesmaid
Heather has been my roommate for the past (almost) two years. She's not only the most supportive and considerate person I know, but she also has the most selfless heart. Heather and I met at EY several years ago and she is the funniest, most chill and "team / work mom" I know :) If you need any sort of event planning, she's your girl!
Groomsman
Thanks to Powell, my home project list is a little shorter and my kitchen is a lot fuller. The most generous and thoughtful person I know, Powell is one of the best parts of life in Charlotte. My retirement plans include a great deal of time devoted to boating and fishing with Powell.
Bridesmaid
Lisa has been my lifelong Charlotte (and EY) friend! We met during my second project at EY back in 2014. It's truly hard for me to describe Lisa because there are so many amazing attributes about her. She is always fully engaged, incredibly smart, full of love and passion for life and constantly sees the good in people. Lisa and I have traveled a lot together for work (CA) and personal (CO) and her sense of adventure and pure joy amazes me.
Groomsman
Pledge brother and roommate two times over, I believe I am a better person for knowing Alex. It has been an absolute joy to be part of him and Julianna's marriage and looking forward to another decade of friendship.
