Amtrak offers limited trips from Seattle to Bellingham, and takes about two hours. After coming back from Japan, limited train service was one of our biggest sources of culture shock.

Flights to Bellingham are available from a few destinations, including Seattle, Vegas, and Oakland.

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
SeaTac is about 100 miles south of Bellingham. If you’re arriving on a jet plane, it’s your best bet.
