Callaway Gardens
Joseph and I had a date day here right before he left for a month to go to the Congo in the summer of 2021 and it is absolutely gorgeous! You can go to the butterfly conservatory or go through their amazing Christmas lights experience! It is right in Pine Mountain where we had our gap year program so that sweet town is very precious to us! It is 45 minutes from Newnan!
Highland Bakery
Joseph and I came here often during our time dating long-distance. We would typically come before he left to go back to school at Boyce or home to Arkansas. You should try the Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict!! This is about 20 mintes from Newnan, but so worth it!!
Dirt Cheap
For all my thrifters!!! This place is amazing, lots of target brand things for so cheap it'll surprise you!! It is quite the trip, about an hour drive from Newnan, but so fun. It really is "dirt cheap"!!
Ponce City Market
Ponce City Market is one of my favorite things to do in Atlanta! You have to go at least once in your life! There are tons of food options and shopping stores that are just so fun to walk around and explore. It is worth the 30 minute drive from newnan to experience it! The top floor is full of games too!
Truett's Chick-fil-A
You can sit down, have a server, and learn about the history of Chick-Fil-A all around you as this specific restaurant was opened to honor Truett Cathy, founder of Chick-Fil-A. I (Lily) worked here for a semester before I went to Boyce College in the Fall of 2020. It is right beside many stores (Target, Walmart) if you need anything for your trip!
