Memory Lane

Little did we know these would be our best friends! October 15, 2019. Joseph and I barely knew eachother here.

A friend snapped this picture of us as we were washing dishes. I guess she saw what we even wouldn't admit at the time.

Lily and I were just friends! This is when our Brazilian host homes thought that we wanted to hangout the whole time... Turns out they were right.

Lily only knows one song on guitar but she was oddly quick to step in and teach me. Despite the fact that the person taking the picture has been playing for years.

One of the many, many, many Facetime Dates we had over quarantine in the summer of 2020. He was so intentional to tell me that he liked me and wanted to pursue me in a way that honored the Lord!

Joseph flew from Canada to Virginia to meet my family and take me on a date! This is when I picked him up from the airport in D.C. and it was POURING down rain. We were both SOOOO nervous.

This was Lily and I's first long-distance goodbye. These were never easy, but this one was esspecially diffucult, at least until Lily came back three days later to suprise me.

My journal said, "I feel at home doing the little things of life with him." This was on a trip I made to go visit him while he was at Boyce. I fell quickly in love with Joseph Bond.

This trip was a couple of months into our relationship. Lily says it is when she knew she was going to marry me, but I had told my friends I would marry this girl before we had dated a week.

Spent 2 weeks quarantining with my family in Georgia over Thanksgiving 2020 when Joseph got Covid. We read lots of CS Lewis and played lots of card games with my mom.

Celebrated 4 months of dating with a hike and this was just a few days after we said "I love you"

Joesph went back to Canada for Christmas Break and when he came back we both got Covid again! Quarantine Round 2 at the Foster House! We had the best time

Our first wedding together! Forever my wedding date!

Joesph spent a month in Africa in the summer of 2021. The Lord used this time apart to confirm that we feel called to ministry together! I can't wait to serve the Lord as a team.

SHE SAID YES!!!! This is right before she started jumping up and down! My heart was pounding and I completely forgot what I was going to say, but she put two and two together.
