She has always looked out for me, being that protective older sister when I made the wrong decisions, and has helped shape me into the person I am today. From our family vacations, to binge watching reality TV, to living together in NYC I couldn't imagine life without her. I couldn't have asked, or imagined, for anyone better to be by my side as my matron of honor.

My brother, my best friend, and now my best man! I've known him his entire life and couldn't have asked for a better brother. He has a heart of gold and is one of the most selfless people I know. You make me so proud to call you my brother. I wouldn't have anybody else by my side as my best man!

My college roommate who turned into my best friend and SOULMATE. We've been attached at the hip for the past 9 years and I couldn't imagine celebrating my big day without her. Naomi and I have been inseparable since the first day of college to the point where we would call each other, and have hour conversations, anytime either of us went home for the weekend. She is the sweetest, most giving, loyal person you can meet, and I am lucky enough to call her my best friend. From our crazy college days, to endless sleepovers, to calling her before making every decision in my life, I am honored to have her right by my side as my maid of honor.

My first friend in college to now one of my best friends. From the moment I met him, we instantly became friends. He is also the reason I met Forum. Parthan has always had my back and is someone I know I can always count on. He's been there for me through the highs and the lows and I'm grateful to call him one of my best friends.

My oldest and DEAREST friend. We've been friends since the 2nd grade and have gone through every milestone in each others' lives together. We have also gone through EVERY awkward stage in life together. From middle school dances, to living at Puja's house every day, to high school "under 18 parties", to SAT classes, to college parties, and now "adulthood", Brianna has been with me every step of the way - to the point where my parents ask if I'm visiting Brianna every time I come visit home. Where do I even start? I met Dipesh in college and we became friends. Over the years, our relationship grew until we became best friends. From sleeping over every weekend, to our crazy New York nights, and our deep heart to hearts. Our relationship has been through it all. Excited to have him standing next to me as I take the next step in my life.

The girl who made me fall in love with the city and made my NYC experience. We decided to live together in NYC, despite not knowing anything about each other, and became the best of friends in the process. She is someone I connected with immediately, and I cannot imagine how different life would be without her. We were INSEPARABLE - to the point where I would sleep in her room instead of mine (even though my room was across the hall). The night I bumped into Krunal in 2016, Anoosha was right by my side.

My college roommate and one of my best friends. Despite all his sarcasm and his hard outer shell, he is actually a big softie on the inside. We went from staying up all night talking in college to now staying up partying at each other's weddings.

There are some people you meet and immediately know they will be in your life forever - and for me that is Shikha. I met Shikha through Naomi in 2010 (my first year of college) and we immediately became friends. The moment I met her it felt like I had known her for years. Distance never affected our friendship and I couldn't be happier to have her by my side as one of my closest friends. If I ever need a wine and cheese night, Shikha is my girl.

My second older sister. Natasha went from being my sister's best friend to becoming one of my closest friends, to basically being part of my family-- to the point where my parent's call her before they call me. Natasha has always treated and taken care of me as if I was her younger sister, since the very beginning, letting me tag along on all her crazy adventures. She is one of the KINDEST, most caring, self-less people you will ever meet and I am so GRATEFUL to have her in my life.

Asma was the first person I met at college at NJIT. We sat next to each other, started talking, and decided to live together (BEST DECISION EVER). Asma is the type of friend who will brighten your day with her quirky, crazy, fun personality. If Asma is around, I know it's going to be a good night. We could be doing absolutely nothing but with Asma by my side it always ends up being a GOOD TIME.

Franklin's mom (the cutest French bulldog), my travel buddy, and the yin to my yang. Ashley and I went to optometry school together and lived together for 2 years after we graduated - up until my engagement. From our trips to Cabo to Ireland to Spain to Malta, we have caused havoc everywhere we have went. We used to spend every moment of EVERYDAY together - laying on the couch, watching hours of the bachelorette, nightly Wholefood runs, dancing to zumba every night, torturing Franklin, morning gym workouts, and daily happy hour runs - and I couldn't have imagined it any other way. When I look back to my craziest and most memorable nights in NYC, Ashley was a part of every single night.

Diana is one of the first people I met at orientation at optometry school and we immediately became friends. One of the first things she said was "my best friend from home is Indian too, so I'm basically half Indian myself!" I only survived (and passed) optometry school because of her. She is one of the SWEETEST and most giving people you will ever meet. She goes above and beyond for the ones she loves and I am so happy and grateful to have such an amazing friend in my life.

Puja and I have been best friends since the 8th grade. I met Puja for the first time when my sister went to visit Natasha (Puja's sister) and I tagged along. That night Puja and I sang along to karaoke and became the BEST of friends. From that moment on we spent every minute of everyday together. I used to practically live at Puja's house to the point where my parent's would come drop off more clothes for me on the weekends. One year, I even skipped my own family vacation and went on vacation with Puja's family instead. She has been with me through every milestone in my life - through the good and the bad - and I absolutely love her.

Despite spending countless hours at the gym, and then partying at house concerts, Mit always somehow helped me get some studying in. Thank you for making sure I passed pharmacy school. Reshma is the reason I passed college, the reason I survived optometry school, my study buddy, and the reason I woke up and made it to class on time for 7 years. We became friends in college, went to optometry school together, and lived together in NYC for 2 years. Safe to say - WE'VE DONE IT ALL, together. During college, she would stay up late with me and study (after nights I decided to go out when I probably shouldn't have). During optometry school, she would force me to go to every class. Living together, Reshma would make sure my dinners didn't consist solely of hot cheetos and wine. Safe to say, she's basically my fairy god mother who has been looking out for me for the last 9 years.

I met Anisha in college and despite knowing anything about each other, it felt as if I had known her for years. Even though we went to different colleges and I only saw her a few times a year, every time we saw each other, we picked up right where we had left off, as if no time had passed at all. She is one of the sweetest and most SELFLESS people you will ever meet, and is always making sure everyone around her is having a good time. She is always the life of the party and finds a way to make every hangout an adventure. I am so thankful to have such a loving friend in my life who I know will always be there, no matter the distance.
