Semi-Formal to Formal: It is an evening wedding, but it is also summer. Suits and cocktail dresses - you can wear a tux or a gown and look fabulous if that is what you want to do.
Hot.
Indoors with ample air-conditioning and cold beverages.
The newlyweds, their family and wedding party will take photos. During this time there will be a cocktail hour on the floor above the ceremony. This will lead into the reception and dinner.
No. The colors are sage and desert rose, but do not feel any need to dress in those colors. Please see the FAQ above regarding what to wear or the Schedule tab for more details.
We will be meeting at Thompson’s Bookstore (it’s a speakeasy, not a Barnes and Nobles) at 8pm on Friday, August 5. Come by, say hello, and get your favorite cocktail - or someone else’s favorite cocktail, it’s your choice. Please see the Schedule tab above for more details.
5:15 PM - that's 17:15 for you military or international spy types.
June 24, 2022 is the RSVP deadline. Please RSVP 'yes' or 'no (regrets)' online at the RSVP tab above.
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

The wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If a spouse or significant other has been overlooked, please contact Kristin or Michael as soon as possible. Additionally, if the save the date contains the wrong name for your partner, please let Kristin or Michael know so they can fix it for the invitations. We don't know who Lisa is, and sincerely apologize to Mark and Cheryl for the oops.
Michael would argue that some of his friends are still, in fact, children, but for our purposes, due to venue constraints, we are unable to accommodate minor children at our wedding.
Please see the Travel & Hotels tab for hotel block information. We have rooms at the Sinclair Autograph Collection and Kimpton Harper Hotel. Please book by July 1st to receive the discounted rate. Downtown Fort Worth has plenty of other high quality hotels as well.
We are registered through this website at the Registry tab above. We love to travel and ask that you help us make our honeymoon plans a reality.
Century Hall is located in downtown Fort Worth near the convention center and water gardens. The door is marked with a gold sign between the FedEx and the large, very cool, midcentury store sign that says "Peters Bros, Inc." It is across the street from Houston Street Bar & Patio. The address is 901 Houston St. For people staying in the wedding block hotels: The venue is less than a 5 minutes walk from the hotels. For people who are driving: Street parking is available on Saturdays, usually at no cost, but we recommend you observe all traffic signs - this is advice for every day, not just the wedding. There is also a small parking lot to the Northwest of the venue. For people who are drinking at the reception: We care about you and would prefer you take an UBER or Lyft.
The hotels are less than a 5 minute walk to the venue. There will not be transportation. That said, please see the Travel and Accommodation tab above for more details.

Yes. The the ceremony and reception location are wheelchair accessible. Additionally, the street and sidewalks on either side of the venue entrance have ADA compliant wheelchair access. Please let Kristin or Michael know if you or a member of your party needs any special accommodation. We want everyone to have a great time.
Yes, there will be food and drinks at the reception. The food is an eclectic mix ranging from Asian to Italian to TexMex. It will be set up in stations so there will not be long waits for service or time wasted in a buffet line. As for the quality of the food, this is Kristin and Michael we are talking about; the food will be good.
If you have an allergy of great concern, please reach out to us so we can consult the caterer and provide you with information to make wise choices. Everyone else is welcome to make wise or foolish choices as they wish within the confines of normative human behavior.
We will play a "How well do you know Kristin and Michael" game during the reception to determine who at each table takes the centerpieces. As for other flowers, etc., please take and enjoy them.
Most definitely. This is 2022. Post selfies. Post usies. Post videos. There will also be a red-carpet style photo section complete with a monogrammed background and the good lighting - some of you social media types know exactly what that means. Kristin and Michael would also love for you to send them photos and videos in the days after the ceremony and reception. Note: During the ceremony, please do not have your phone in the wedding photographer's shot and please be respectful of those people sitting behind you and not block their view.
Fort Worth is a fantastic city. There is art, high culture, cowboy/western culture, music, fantastic restaurants and fun watering holes. Check out the About Fort Worth tab above for ideas.
We may have men in space outfits swabbing everyone’s noses throughout the ceremony while Druid witch doctors spray the room in incense and shamanic chants. It’s unlikely, but anything can happen. It’s been six years since Harambe and nothing has really been normal hence. What is certain is there are people attending who are elderly or have underlying health conditions and we want to protect them. If you feel sick, please stay home. Covid is still a concern for many people. Additionally, colds and flu still exist and we don’t want that spread around either. Masks are not required nor are they discouraged. We will not check vaccination status. Basically: be responsible for yourself, care for the well-being of others, and have a good time. If you have concerns about seating etc., due to Covid or other health matters, please reach out to Kristin or Michael.
Kristin and Michael accept all forms of electronic communication including but not limited to texts, DM's, emails and even phone calls. Be advised, at present, they do not accept messages in Morse code. - .... .- -. -.- / -.-- --- ..-
