From The Ledges you’ll see glimpses of this gorgeous park. The park is located just west of us and is within 5-minutes of our vacation rentals and golf clubhouse. Snow Canyon boasts beautiful colored sandstone cliffs, cinder cones, more than 38 miles of hiking trails, biking and walking trails, underground caves, sand dunes, petrified dunes, petroglyphs, and horseback riding. The park is reminiscent of Zion National Park but is much closer and a lot less busy than Zion which makes it our number one must see when visiting St. George.
Zion National Park is a southwest Utah nature preserve distinguished by Zion Canyon’s steep red cliffs. Zion Canyon Scenic Drive cuts through its main section, leading to forest trails along the Virgin River. The river flows to the Emerald Pools, which have waterfalls and a hanging garden. Also along the river, partly through deep chasms, is Zion Narrows wading hike. 1 hour drive from St. George.
This outdoor amphitheater is located at the south entrance of Snow Canyon State Park giving it a truly one-of-a-kind backdrop for their live performances. Their venue also hosts many concerts and other events such as bull riding. Depending on the event type, ticket prices vary but no matter what’s happening at Tuacahn during your stay, we highly recommend checking them out! Their venue is a 17-minute drive from The Ledges.
