We met while backpacking throughout South East Asia, in a backpacking hostel in Hanoi, Vietnam. Erika had just come to the hostel and was assigned a bed in the same room as Steven. We eventually ended up traveling to Laos together, and Steven convinced Erika to meet him two weeks later in Yangon, Myanmar, where they traveled together for 10 days throughout the country. Then, sadly there was a gap of about 8 months where we didnt see each other, and we had eventually started to lose touch, until Steven took a trip to Phoenix to help his brother Greg move for a new job. Steven ended up staying in Phoenix for 6 months, where we were able to reconnect. In that time, we spent 2 weeks in a RV driving throughout California, where we now own our home and live together with our 2 doggos, Rocco and Apple. Traveling together and finding new incredible places is something we have been doing from the start of our story, and we're really excited to capture and share some of that sense of adventure with people we care most for, on our special day.
