Alyeska Accommodations mades it easy to find somewhere for those locals looking for a weekend getaway or for those traveling from out of state. It's perfect for those who want a more home-like experience of having access to a private house/property with a kitchen and some even have a hot tub! Forrest and I have stayed at their pet-friendly properties multiple times and enjoyed our experience every time.

Flight

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport/Alaska Airlines

We live in Anchorage, and our ceremony/reception is 45 minutes south in Girdwood. Flying into Anchorage is your best option, although flying into Kenai is an option for those who want to drive up to Anchorage later with the Eisslers, who live in Soldotna (2.5 hours south of Anchorage). If you are here more than a day before the wedding, staying in Anchorage would put you closer to us and the "city" life. Please reach out to us with any travel questions--we are happy to offer suggestions. Additionally, Alaska Airlines has FANTASTIC customer service and amenities and also has a wide array of cities they connect to.
