Welcome Party & Wedding Transportation

For our Welcome Party, limited valet parking will be available at our venue, Theater on the Lake. No other transportation will be provided and guests are encouraged to utilize taxis/ride share services (Uber, Lyft) whenever possible. For our Wedding Ceremony & Reception, limited parking will be available at our venue, Morgan Manufacturing. We will also have a shuttle arranged for those staying at the Kinzie hotel. The shuttle will depart the Kinzie at 5:15 pm to head to our venue and will make return trips to the Kinzie after the Reception ends. Please meet in the lobby ready to depart no later than 5:15 pm. Lastly, to encourage safe transportation, we have created an Uber discount code for our guests to use to and from our wedding venue, Morgan Manufacturing. Flight

O'Hare International Airport (ORD)

Chicago has two main airports - O'Hare and Midway - but we recommend flying in and out of O'Hare, if possible. It is easier to get to and has a wider availability of flights. You can get to and from the city via the Blue line of the L train (Chicago's main public transit system), which takes you directly from O'Hare to the city center, or catch an Uber or Lyft. It is about a 30-minute drive from the city center, depending on traffic.

Navigating the City

Chicago's main mode of public transportation is the L train, which has numerous, color-coded lines. You can download the Ventra app ahead of time on your phone to purchase tickets and view schedule information. You can also purchase tickets directly from kiosks located at each train station. This hotel is located in the River North area and is where the bride, groom, and their family members will be staying. It is about an 8-minute drive to/from our wedding venue. Unfortunately, there are no additional rooms currently available in our wedding block, but guests are welcome to book at the best available rate online if they choose to stay here.
