Some key things to know about traveling to and through Costa Rica!
There are two international airports folks can fly to. There is Liberia 3hrs north of La Fortuna. Then there is San Jose (SJO), the capital city about 3hrs south of La Fortuna. We recommend SJO! SJO is generally cheaper and the city itself offers its own experience. There are museums, restaurants and night life that we will be making our way to in the days before the wedding weekend. So if you happen to be in San Jose during the week before feel free to connect with us!

The drive from San Jose is about 2.5-3 hours. Its a beautiful ride, going from city to countryside and then into the hills. Stop at the Sodas along the way for some of the best food!

La Fortuna is small town at the base of Arenal Volcano. There are tons of activities in the area and everything from hostels to luxury resorts for you to choose from!
