Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Although our love story began in our home state of New Jersey, our wedding will be at Uzhupud Garden, about 45 minutes from Cuenca, Ecuador.

What is the nearest airport?

Answer

The nearest airport is Mariscal La Mar International Airport (CUE) in Cuenca. Most guests will connect through Quito (UIO) or Guayaquil (GYE). We recommend booking flights early to secure the best fares!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will coordinate shuttles from Guayaquil Airport to Uzhupud Garden for arrival and departure days. More details and sign-up information will be shared closer to the date.

Where should we stay?

Answer

Rooms will be available at Uzhupud Garden, and we have reserved a block for guests. Additional nearby accommodations in Cuenca can be recommended if you prefer to stay in the city. We will share booking instructions and special rates soon.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Expect daytime temperatures between 60–80°F. For cooler evenings bring a shawl or jacket for comfort.

Is Ecuador safe to travel?

Answer

Cuenca and Paute are generally very safe and welcoming to tourists! As with any international travel, exercise normal precautions.

Do I need a passport or visa to travel to Ecuador?

Answer

For U.S. citizens, no visa is needed for stays under 90 days. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.
