Question

Where is the wedding and reception?

Answer

Both the wedding and reception will be held at Indigo Hall, which is in the downtown area of Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Question

What is the timeline of the wedding day?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing! Last call will be at 11:30 pm, and the bride and groom will leave the venue before midnight.

Question

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The venue contains both indoor and outdoor elements. The wedding ceremony will be held outdoors, while the reception will be indoors with access to an outdoor veranda and fenced in courtyard.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We kindly request that you only bring a guest if they have been specified on the formal invitation.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Due to limited space, we politely ask that you do not bring children under the age of twelve, if at all possible.

Question

What is the dress code of the wedding?

Answer

The dress code of the wedding is semi-formal.

Question

Are there any colors you prefer me not to wear?

Answer

We kindly request that the bride is the only person wearing white during the ceremony and reception. All other colors are welcome.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at MyRegistry.com, which currently includes items from Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Target, and Lowes. Stay tuned for additions to this registry as we also plan to include items from Walmart and Academy Sports.

Question

Is parking available near the venue?

Answer

Yes! There are two parking lots that are designated for the venue on the day of our wedding.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the reception?

Answer

While there is no shuttle to or from the wedding reception, two of the suggested hotels are within walking distance (1-2 blocks) of the venue.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We do not mind if you take your own photos. However, we do request that you respect the professional photographers and videographer by giving them priority during the ceremony and reception. We firmly request that nobody stands in the isle to take pictures during the ceremony.

Question

Can I post my pictures on social media?

Answer

Yes! We do not mind if you post pictures on social media once the wedding ceremony has ended. Be sure to use our hashtag: #foreversmiley2019 :)
