✈️ Travel Destination: Isla Verde, Puerto Rico We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding with you in paradise! Isla Verde is a lively beachside neighborhood just minutes from San Juan (SJU) International Airport, making travel easy and convenient. How to Get There: ✈️ Fly into: San Juan Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) ✈️ Distance to Venue: About 5–10 minutes from the Courtyard Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort ✈️ Flights: Guests are responsible for booking their own flights. We recommend booking early for the best rates. ✈️ Travel Requirements: Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, so no passport is required for U.S. citizens! You can fly using your Real ID–compliant driver’s license or other accepted form of identification — just as you would for a domestic flight. Passports are always welcome if you prefer to use them, but they’re not necessary. Once you arrive, tropical sunshine, ocean breezes, and palm-tree views await! 🌴

Planning ahead is key! Based on past trends, the best time to book flights to San Juan, Puerto Rico from the East Coast is between 2 to 4 months before departure — that means booking around March to May 2026 for the best deals. ✈️ Round-trip fares typically range from $250–$400 when booked early ✈️ Use sites like Google Flights, Hopper, Priceline, and Expedia to compare prices ✈️ Some booking platforms, like Priceline and Expedia, also offer monthly payment plans (subject to credit approval), which can help spread out travel costs ✈️ Try to avoid last-minute bookings, as prices tend to spike closer to July We recommend starting your flight search early and locking in a deal by mid-May 2026 to get the best value. ✈️🌴

🏡 Accommodations We’d love to make this feel like a family-vacation-style celebration! Our plan is to rent one large Airbnb so everyone can stay together, relax, and enjoy the full island experience. Depending on the final RSVP count, we may need to reserve multiple nearby Airbnbs or book hotel rooms instead — but our goal is to keep everyone close and make it affordable for all. Here’s how it’ll work: 🏡 Guests will cover their portion of the lodging cost. 🏡 Once RSVPs are finalized, we’ll share the specific Airbnb(s), total cost, and room options. 🏡 To secure your spot, payment for your portion will be needed ahead of the reservation. 🏡 Prefer more privacy? No problem — you can book your own Airbnb or hotel nearby! When submitting your RSVP, please let us know: ✅ If you’d like to stay with the group ✅ How many rooms you’ll need (especially if attending with family or children) We can’t wait to relax, laugh, and celebrate under one roof (or a few!) with everyone we love most. 🌞

💰 Cost Estimate We want everyone to enjoy this trip without stress — our goal is to keep things fun, relaxed, and as affordable as possible. Here’s what to expect: ✈️ Flights: Guests will book their own airfare to San Juan (SJU). 🏡 Lodging: Shared Airbnb costs will be divided among guests (exact pricing shared once RSVPs are finalized). 🍽️ Meals: The wedding reception dinner will be on us — our way of saying thank you for celebrating with us! 🥂 🍽️Other meals throughout the weekend won’t be covered, but we plan to rent an Airbnb with a kitchen, making it easy and budget-friendly to cook together, buy groceries, or have casual cookouts. We’d love to make shared meals part of the fun! 🚗 Transportation: Ride shares (Uber/Lyft) or rental cars are easily available and affordable options for getting around. Once RSVPs are in, we’ll send a detailed cost breakdown so everyone can plan ahead comfortably. 🌴

We wanted to share that Kaitlyn and Kevin are planning to arrive in Puerto Rico a few days before the wedding, though our exact arrival date isn’t confirmed just yet. If you’d like to arrive early to make the most of your trip — whether to relax, explore, or simply stretch your vacation a bit — we’d love to help coordinate accommodations for those extra days. This could be a great way to save money by sharing lodging just for the earlier dates (separate from the main wedding stay). Please let us know in your RSVP if you’re interested in coming early, and once we finalize our own plans, we’ll reach out to organize something that works for everyone. That said, there’s absolutely no expectation to spend that time with us — you’re more than welcome to venture off and explore Puerto Rico on your own. We’ll likely be enjoying a bit of couple time ourselves before the festivities begin, soaking up the sun and getting ready to celebrate with all of you! 🌴☀️
