Our Love Story
Lauren and Lee met at William Paterson University in 2017, where they were both involved in Greek life. Like many college students, they met in the most romantic way... at a fraternity party. It wasn’t long before they became good friends—and soon, they were practically inseparable.
On December 9, 2017, under the lights of the Christmas tree in New York City, Lee asked Lauren to officially be his girlfriend. After completing their undergraduate degrees at William Paterson—and with Lee also finishing his master’s—they began a long-distance journey. Lauren started her own master’s program at Touro University, while Lee took a job based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Eventually, they closed the distance, moved in together, and welcomed two furry friends, Toby and Ellie, into their home. Little did Lauren know that on their 6th anniversary, during a visit to Tiffany & Co. in NYC, Lee would get down on one knee and ask her to spend the rest of their lives together.
