Question

What precautions are you taking against COVID-19?

Answer

We are happy to announce that 100% of our guests are fully vaccinated (and many boosted)! The staff at Ravenswood Event Center is also 100% fully vaccinated and will be wearing masks for the entire event. Masks are required to be worn into the venue, except when eating or drinking. We will have a lot of space to make sure social distancing is easy. Chicago is currently in Phase 5 of re-opening, which means most restrictions have been lifted for fully vaccinated people. Masks are required in all indoor public settings, including bars, restaurants, and public transportation. Masks can be removed at restaurants, bars and other eating/drinking establishments by patrons when they are actively eating and drinking. Question

Are kids welcome at the welcome party Friday night?

Answer

As much as we love a baby in a bar, unfortunately Headquarters is a 21+ venue.

Question

Are kids welcome at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Ultimately, this is your call as parents. We love your little ones (a mini version of two of our favorite people combined? Amazing!) but we also want you to enjoy your night! If you believe you and your child can have a good time through a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, seated dinner, and dancing that ends at midnight, then they are welcome to join! Please reach out if you're interested in coordinating with other parents about shared child care!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We strongly encourage everyone to use the CTA or Lyft if possible so you can fully enjoy your evening. There is street parking available on Ravenswood Avenue for free.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a shuttle to the ceremony from the Residence Inn. Otherwise, please use our Lyft code to cover your ride to and from the wedding. Our venue is also a short walk (less than 5 minutes) from the Irving Park Brown Line stop on the CTA.

Question

Any special dress code notes?

Answer

Our wedding venue is indoors so you do not need to worry about rain, cold, or heat. However it is December in Chicago and you will probably want a nice warm coat for traveling to and from the venue. Masks are required to be worn into the venue, except when eating or drinking. And of course, please don't wear white!
