AUGUST 2015 Meg & George match on Bumble. Meg texts George for the first time to set up their first date, at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. The exhibit was “Watch This! Revelations in Media Art,” and they watched videos. SEPTEMBER 2015 They make it official and agree to go steady. APRIL 2016 George attends his first-ever Seder when he joins Meg's family in Baltimore. He finds the afikomen in the dryer. JANUARY 2017 Meg moves to Chicago. JULY 2017 George moves to Chicago … not during the middle of a polar vortex. JUNE 2019 On the way to Meg's pre-birthday dinner, George stops Meg in the stairwell. He proposes, she says yes, and they go to the bar across the street, where their friends were waiting to celebrate. (He said he made a reservation … he never said it was a fancy restaurant.) SEPTEMBER 2020 We made it official again! We were wed in an intimate ceremony with our immediate families on our 5th anniversary of dating. DECEMBER 2021 Let’s party!
