When CJ and I started seriously dating, she quickly became our honorary “third wheel” for many dates! Keep an ear out for her MOH speech; It’s bound to be filled with funny movie quotes and stories about us! (Hopefully nothing too embarrassing!)
Groomsman
Friday night lights basketball league is where we met in college. Wasn’t till after college when Ronnie moved to Chicago did we really become close. Ronnie, Franklin and I are always on the golf course, well I’m on the golf course but Ronnie is mostly in the woods or in the water.
Bridesmaid
Amy aka “Mimi” and I shared a room growing up and although she’s younger, she’s always seemed like the older sister! She taught me at a young age how to set boundaries and stand up for myself. It’s only fitting that she stands by my side on this day! Aside from being a talented hair stylist, Amy’s truly the life of the party! At the wedding, you'll find her either keeping my hair looking good or busting a move on the dance floor!
Groomsman
Franklin and I shared a couple years of football memories in college until Franklin graduated. But like most people that leave Grinnell after graduating Franklin stayed for years! Even after i graduated he still stayed. It wasn’t until Ronnie graduated that Franklin left and also moved to Chicago.
Bridesmaid
Haile aka “Sauce” and I have been close our entire lives! We affectionately call each other “SLOVERS” (Sisters-Lovers-Friends). It’s been such a joy to share so many of life’s biggest and funniest moments together. She’s the type of person that’s always down to take on a challenge and never backs down! I’m so fortunate to have her in my life and by my side as I embark on this new chapter!
Groomsman
Mike is like a little brother I never had. His Mom introduced us at the tennis club because she needed someone older to hit with her son. Little did I know this kid was a professional player in high school. Waxed me all over the court! Tennis introduced us and helped us grow a brotherhood that has lasted for over a decade.
Bridesmaid
Alex aka “Cuc” aka “Frank” is the baby sister of the bunch! I love her cheeky sense of humor, kind heart and ability to be herself in every situation. She’s a devoted servant of the Lord and it’s been such a blessing to have her in my corner. She’s always the one to get me pumped up in deep conversation that can last for hours!! She has an infectious laugh and keeps us cracking up with her silly jokes. Having her by my side, I'll be one happy & blessed bride!
Groomsman
Edward aka Pierre, I’ve known since 8th grade. He lived around the corner from me and it was the homebase for all of our friends. Weekdays we went to school and weekends we spent at the roller dome.
Bridesmaid
Bobbi aka “Juice” is the type of person that feels good to the soul. She’s always down for random adventures, encourages self growth and has the ability to see the brighter side of every situation. She’s been my friend, sister, roommate, and a genuine companion throughout all these years. From childhood to adulthood and now motherhood, we’ve shared some of life’s sweetest experiences together. I’ll always cherish having our babies the same month, being each other’s “push partners” and sharing the joyful journey of motherhood. I’m so grateful to have her by my side for another special day!
Groomsman
Tyler and I met at our football lockers freshman year of college. We became friends instantly over a game of pool, which I won for the record. Friends, teammates, roommates, travels and much more. One of my brothers!
