As we are both lovers of art, we thoroughly enjoyed out trip to the local art museum. It offers a variety of traditional and contemporary art, and interactive pieces. It also holds an original Norman Rockwell. And all of this is completely free to the public.
As Gabriel is a pinball enthusiast, this spot has a special pull. It offers more than 70 unique pinball machines, all available to play. There are no quarters needed for these machines, just a cover cost at the door ($15 per person). A fun time for all ages.
As we are both video game junkies, this place is great for a fun date night. It hosts a wide variety of games spanning the entire history of video games. From Pong to Guitar Hero to Dance Dance Revolution, you'll be sure to find something fun to play. Just like the Pinball Museum, there are no quarters required to play, just a cover charge of $15 a person.
As we are both huge lovers of puzzles, escape rooms are one of our favorite things to do. This escape room location offers 9 rooms, all with different themes and difficulties. At $25 a person, it is not one of the most affordable activities on the list, but one that is close to our heart.
If beautiful October leaves are something that makes your heart happy, this is the activity for you. It boasts breath-taking views, scenic drives, hikes of varying difficulties, and picnic locations. Gabriel and I love the mountains that surround us, especially in Fall, and there's no better place to view them than the parkway.
