Is there a dress code?

Answer

This event is semi-formal attire. We ask that you wear attire such as cocktail-length dresses, dressy separates, or a button-up and tie, jacket optional. Please note that the venue does not permit blue jeans or sneakers. The bride also asks that female guests please avoid wearing white, ivory and cream colors, or shades of purple, as these are reserved for the bridal party.

Where is the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be held in the Crystal Ballroom of Hotel Roanoke. The address is 110 Shenandoah Ave NE, Roanoke, VA 24016.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4 pm. Please arrive by 3:30 pm to allow for enough time for everyone to be seated. Times are subject to change.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at the hotel will be pay to park. Fees are between $6-$12 daily. Some street parking is available, but there is no guarantee that it will be unoccupied at the time of the ceremony.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would love to have you, and those on your invitation there. But unfortunately, we can't include additional guests at this occasion.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please note that this is an adult-only event. Besides the wedding party, all guests are to be 21 years of age, or older.

As most of our guests are close enough to be considered local, we will not be blocking out any hotel accommodations. If you are in need of a hotel room, please reach out and we can point you in directions of possibilities in the area. You can also look at our travel page for some recommendations.

We have paid for two professional photographers to capture how the ceremony looks, we have invited you so you may capture how the ceremony feels. We ask you turn off your electronics during our ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographers. Some of these photos will be posted on social media for viewing purposes. After the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, you may turn on your devices and take pictures of whatever you wish! If you would like to post some of these pictures, please kindly wait for us to post some of our own, first. And for those interested, the wedding hashtag is: #forevermoore1026.

Yes, alcohol will be served at this event. This is why we have requested a child-free atmosphere.

Answer

There will definitely be some sort of interpretation of dancing during the reception.

Can I take home the centerpieces after the reception?

Please note that we will advise what is meant to be taken home, and what needs to stay behind, on the day of the event.

At this time, the only other event planned for this wedding is the the rehearsal dinner for the wedding party. If any other events come to be, we will make sure to update this site.
