Yes, Houston is a temporary home for both of us and we know it’s a bit unconventional that we aren’t getting married in either of our home towns. We decided that this was an easier option given that we are both very busy with school while planning a wedding. Houston will always be special to us so we are excited to share the city we love with our closest family and friends! If you are able to come celebrate with us, we are so appreciative! If you aren’t able to make it, we completely understand and you’ll be here in spirit!
These events are formal and black tie preferred, but optional! Simply put, for the men: a suit and tie is required, or a tuxedo if you’d like to feel fancy. For the women: a formal shorter dress, floor length gown, or a formal pant suit, it’s up to you! The PCOH venue has a strict dress code policy and we ask that all of our guests please adhere to the policies for everyone’s convenience. Thank you!
This is a more casual cocktail event! For the women, a casual dress or similar is perfect. For the men, a suit without a tie or pants with a collared shirt would be great.
Either! Both IAH (“Bush”) and HOU (“Hobby”) are great options and we are thankful to be in a city that has two! IAH is slightly further away but much larger and has services with all major airlines. HOU may be a little closer and usually not as busy, but is mostly useful for people who are flying with Southwest Airlines. However, HOU does service a few other airlines as well. Google Flights allows you to select both airports simultaneously when searching for the cheapest fare, just make sure you are flying in and out of the same airport if that matters to you!

If you don’t want to rent a car, Uber and Lyft are great options in Houston. There is also the Metro Bus & Rail public transportation system. Tickets can be purchased on the Q-ticketing app if you have a smart phone. The Hyatt also has a free shuttle to certain destinations and there are plenty of areas that are within walking distance.
It’s all online for your convenience and ours! Once your formal invitation arrives in the mail, this option will become available. Simply click the “RSVP” tab and type in your name, it’ll guide you from there!
Leading up to the wedding, both Andrew (423-504-7762) & Megan (803-507-8059) will be happy to answer any of your questions! However, once the wedding week arrives, please ask anyone but the bride & groom! Our parents and the matron/maids of honor will be happy to help!
Check out the schedule page for the addresses and contact information for each location! They’ll be happy to help direct you.
