The Wedding Website of Tanna Goodwin and Brandon Goodwin
Who doesn’t love, L💜VE?
Question

Who’s officiating?

Answer

Pastor Matt Heverly at Edgewater. He has known Brandon’s parents since they were teenagers with him. Plus, he’s the senior pastor the couple met under.

Question

Are you registered? Yes… with Amazon!

Answer

The couple bought an RV for the first year. They will be living quite minimalistic for now… you are welcome to buy things on their RV wish list on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/Forevergoodwins2021

Question

Where’s the reception?

Answer

At Edgewater Christian Fellowship - same place as the wedding.

Question

Will there be popcorn-worthy drama?

Answer

Nope. We ask you keep that stuff contained at home. This is the couple’s day to float around carefree. It would honor them if everyone practiced Jesus’ words "Do unto others what you would have them do to you" (Matt 7:12). *Do you want love and respect? Show love and respect. =]*

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Modest is hottest. This is a church setting for “Saint Pete’s Sake!”

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes - We love kiddos! We ask them to keep the parents under control =]. Obviously quiet is key during the sacred ceremony.

Question

Where is the honeymoon?

Answer

Keeping it local… first days in the Valley, then to the Oregon Coast. They hope for a more tropical adventure once restrictions let up.

Question

Will there be drinking or smoking?

Answer

No, but we hope to do some (clean) holy-roller dancing.

Question

Was there premarital counseling?

Answer

Yes! B&T had to get the church’s approval to be wed after a set number of sessions… they will continue weekly premarital counseling as much as the pastor’s schedule allows.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, it’s free at the church - and there is ample space.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please come at least 15 mins early so we can start promptly.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Sorry, nothing we can help on that end. To carpool, you’ll have to use the Internet or call a friend for that answer.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Sorry, that is to be determined.

Question

Bonus question: Do they want kids? How many?!

Answer

Yes, both want 3, God-willing 4… give it at least 6 months of marriage 😎. And please mind your own beeswax!

Question

What’s a good mailing address if I cannot attend?

Answer

P.O. Box 691 Eagle Point, OR 97524 Checks to: “Brandon Goodwin” or “Tanna Oberlander” they still have to get a bank account in their joint name. Tanna will legally submit her name change to Goodwin after the ceremony.

Question

Masks or No-Masks?

Answer

The church venue has stood unmasked throughout the C*VID time (searchable online). We trust that if you need to mask-up, you will do so. We will not judge either way.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

YES! First the ceremony, followed by dinner provided by Sweet Tea Express, toasts and dancing! Be sure to bring your PARTY shoes for some silly dancing!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please get your RSVP in by August 20th for the food prep!

Question

What do the couple need?

Answer

Prayer, love, wisdom and mentors. They will have a simple local honeymoon, and hopes for an open door to somewhere tropical once the fires + covid lets up. If you have access to a timeshare, flyer miles or simply want to graciously help fund their real honeymoon... Feel free to do so... as they put all their funds into securing their fifth-wheel to circumvent the spike in housing costs. Surely the measure you use - will be measured back to you according to Jesus (Mark 4:24) ! Goodwin Newlywed Mailing Address: 1316 Ave G White City OREGON 97503

Question

What happens in the event that Southern Oregon is on fire?

Answer

The church is amply prepared for all emergency situations especially fires. Last year they hosted the homeless due to fires - and were able to have weddings all the while. They truly are the arms of Jesus in crisis.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony set to be inside, reception set to be outdoors beyond the church sanctuary.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
