When should I RSVP by?

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding celebration will be limited to immediate family children only. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate, we only plan to accommodate the guests specifically named on your RSPV, which can be found on our website. We appreciate your understanding.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 3:30 pm. Please arrive a few minutes early to park, and find your seats.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The suggested dress code is cocktail attire with autumnal tones. We invite guests to dress up while staying comfortable. Encouraged attire suggestions include dress shirts, dress pants, with optional ties (no jackets required), midi to maxi length dresses, or dressy pantsuits with autumn colors.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

You can find an option to disclose any food allergies with your online RSVP. Please indicate who this allergy is for so we can try to accommodate this request. While we will do our best to accommodate, please note that the final decision for these accommodations will be made by the caterer. We are not able to accommodate for personal food preferences.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are many hotels near the venue. While we have a hotel block at the Courtyard by Marriott (1931 Hospitality Drive, Lancaster, PA), you can find other hotel recommendations on the accommodation tab on our website.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking is on site, and will not need to be moved between ceremony and reception.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! We will be hosting our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all at the Barn at Silverstone, creating a seamless celebration.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, but there is free on-site parking at the venue. If you plan on drinking, consider using a ride share (i.e Uber, Lyft), to and from the venue. You cannot park your car at the venue overnight!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Planning to arrive early? We'd love to see you! We're planning an informal get-together on Saturday evening in downtown Lancaster for anyone who would like to stop by and say hello. This is NOT a hosted event - guests are welcome to purchase their own food and drinks. Check back on our website, closer to the wedding, for location and other details.
