A Standford study revealed that 11% of couples meet one another at work and that percentage is true to the joining of Steve and Alexis. The year is 2014, Steve worked at Journeys in Naples, FL and Alexis was working at Journeys in Boca Raton, FL. Alexis initiated a transfer to Naples for the summer semester of college and that information was given to Steve from management. A brief description of her appearance was enough for Steve to claim Alexis as his own before even meeting her. Unfortunately for Steve, Alexis was made known of his selection of her, thus causing Alexis to act absolutely unapproachable when they met. Nevertheless, as uninterested as she was, Alexis was far more interested in selling Steve a dream through a Pyramid Scheme so a few months later, Steve met the entire Smith family, who aided in selling the dream through a hosted seminar. Steve was far too witty to fall for the Pyramid Scheme but seeing Alexis for the first time outside of work in a dress and heels, he was even more interested in her. Summer 2014 came to an end and Steve went away for a few months, searching for a purpose in life, and as he was gone, the communication with Alexis grew more and more. Fast forward to summer 2015, Steve and Alexis have seen each other nearly every weekend and have put on the image that they are together. As the end of the summer days came by, Steve was tasked with a life changing decision; to be or not to be exclusively taken. Through prayer and a sound mind, Steve asked Alexis’ parents if he can take their daughter out on a date to ask her to be his girlfriend. Steve took her to downtown Naples’ Campiello restaurant. Two young kids, making a decision to exclusively be with one another. Early on, Steve and Alexis made a decision to refrain from the idea of marriage until they have completed school and are in a position they feel as though would be conducive to the marriage they envisioned. So the two watched each other grow up, 8 years worth of College and Law School graduations, successes and failures. Then, after a year out of Law school, Steve used the opportunity to propose to Alexis in Italy to commemorate the Campiello date in Naples FL 8 years prior. After 8 years of being boyfriend and girlfriend, Steve and Alexis are prepared to turn that 8, 90 degrees to the left and make it an infinity of years together as Mr. & Mrs. François.
