At Pillar Point Harbor in HMB, you can rent a kayak, canoe, or paddleboard (wet suit & safety instructions included) - there are options for an organized tour on the water as well.
Jsut 30-45min outside of HMB, SF has SO MUCH to do: SF Zoo, Palace of Fine Arts, Coit Tower, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Aquarium of the Pacific, Chinatown, Giants at Oracle Park & many many more.
