Who knew high school would be the beginning to a love story? In 2009, Ian was a freshman & Stephanie was a sophomore at BCHS. Over time, friendship grew & so did Steph's crush on Ian. Both of them went off to college & kept in touch through letters written over several years, keeping them connected across the country from Washington to Minnesota. Time continued to pass, over which swim days, coffee dates & other get togethers happened when Steph was home visiting from LA, where she was doing her new grad nursing program after graduating. Ian visited Steph in LA for their birthdays (a day apart), where she realized her feelings continued to grow for Ian. Secretly, Ian began to realize his feelings as well but didn't want to jeopardize the precious friendship they have built over so much time. COVID hit the world & Steph decided to move back to Sacramento, where Ian was now living also - both of them in one place for the first time in a while. Then one fateful night after helping Steph move in to her apartment in Midtown Sac, Ian confessed how he felt to Steph & on April 30th, 2021, they began their official love story that we get to celebrate together on their wedding day April 30th, 2027 - 6 years later.
