Matron of Honor
Pretty sure this is our first solo photo together, circa 2012, Paco's kitchen, Pacific Beach, CA. You were more blonde, I was more brunette, and we became fast friends after you moved in with Kelsey and I for the last semester and summer of college at SDSU. I could not be more thankful for your friendship, your silliness, your love; you have become the sister I always wanted. Convincing you to move up to San Francisco after your stint of monthly visits (much to Kelsey's dismay), I consider myself so fortunate to be able to have had a (small) part in you finding your husband, and I am so excited to have you by my side as I marry mine.
Matron of Honor
The truest form of a little sister, and I simply cannot imagine my life without you in it. This is definitely our first solo photo together after I moved into the East Falls View house in 2009, while we made our way through SDSU (Brad Paisley concert). Who could say no to a house right next to campus that had a pool and mini-basketball court, but what I found in that house was so much better, YOU. In the early days, we bonded while I played guitar as you did ballet around the house, over lots of free burritos, and me somehow finding my way into the middle of a sorority, where I got to be your date anytime Bryce couldn't make it. I couldn't WAIT for you to turn 21 and join me in Pacific Beach. We shared a bed-room, or room of bed rather for a quick minute, and one of your greatest ideas ever was to get Ashley to move in with us. Kelsey, I adore you and those two little munchkins you and B created and still can't imagine how I got so lucky to have met you way back when.

Also our first photo, Brad Paisley, October 2009. I have to give you credit for so so so many of the friendships I hold most dear, but most importantly, the sister that you have become to me. 'Love at first email' - where we met over a craigslist ad, and I moved in with you and 4 of your sorority sisters not sure what I was getting myself into. I couldn't have more of a happy and full heart thinking about those days; getting taco bell in your little white BMW while blasting Justin Bieber, studying abroad in Spain together, moving to Pacific Beach, and now you are a mom to 2 of my most favorite little humans and your love and personality shines through them. You are the most selfless, loving, and generous person I have ever met and I am so beyond fortunate to have you in my life.

Kitty Kat! This picture is always one of my favorites; I think it was a Friday night football game at Terra Nova and we were in the parking lot, we may have been seniors or juniors already. After 2 decades of friendship where do I even begin…crazy times growing up in Pacifica being wild teenagers, to San Diego weekends, and then living in SF at the same time. You’ve always been my best friend through all the fun but most importantly through all the hard times as well. I love you so much and am looking forward to the many many more memories we make together as we make our way through “adulting” and then get to be fun old grandmas together.

One of my newer friends…let’s say 4 years in the making-ish? It’s so hard to tell since we first met probably 6-7 years ago, but I’m just happy we finally figured out how great each other are and you convinced me to move to Denver and now we get to hang out all the time! Seriously though, it’s no surprise you have lived all over the world and have managed to cultivate such an amazing group of friends who have also taken me and Chris in as their own. Your love for life and family and love is simply wonderful to be around and I could not thank you enough for your friendship. I truly feel that we are kindred spirits and were meant to be friends and find each other. I love you so much Coop and a special thank you for helping me navigate all things wedding planning related!

Our friendship dates way back into our AYSO and club soccer days in the mid-to-late 90s, but it wasn’t until Mr. Ssemakula’s freshman year Algebra class where we bonded over hating math and me learning how to french braid on you. High School was an adventure all in its own, but I think some of my favorite moments with you were the many many nights we spent at the Munroe’s just hanging out, Gellert parking lot, car shows, trips to tahoe, city nights in SF dancing on ledges at Mayes, and the trips you came and visited me in San Diego. You are one of my friends that time can pass and we never skip a beat and I love and admire the woman and momma you have become. I’m so thankful to have you in my life - all the silliness and at the serious moments, I know I can always count on you and that will always mean the world to me.

Over the past couple years it has been so great getting to know you better Lauren. I originally would have said how much I loved the week we stayed with you in Vermont for Christmas, and getting to spend the holidays with everyone and the babies. However, my new favorite memory is most definitely when you and Travis visited us in Alameda. We got Travis to admit that he likes wine (cabernets), had ourselves a DAY floating down the river. I even seem to remember you giving Chris a run for his money in pop-a-shot in some random place we popped into in Oakland...which we then closed down and had to be asked to leave finally. I love watching you be such an awesome mama, and I adore those 2 precious boys of yours, and I am so grateful that you have welcomed me into your family and treat me like another sister.

We met super early on, when Chris and I had only been dating a few months, and you came up to SF for your Mom's 60th birthday trip. I was nervous to meet one of Chris's twin, older, sisters, but you were so nice and welcoming to me, and I had such a great day with you wine tasting and getting to know you. Since then we've celebrated birthdays in SD, holidays in Vermont, and summer trips to Rhode Island, but I think one of my favorite times was getting to be there for Maeve's first birthday. I'm so excited to become your sister and to be a part of your family.
Co-Best Man
Craigers, a friendship that has spanned over a quarter century? We’ve literally traveled the world together; Sweden, Belgium, Germany, to New Orleans, OCMD, San Diego, SF… and the list will only keep growing. You have always been there for me in all the good times as well as the bad. Knowing I have a brother like you only a phone call away is everything.
Co-Best Man
Z, here we go! It’s amazing to think after about 15 years, we are back living about 10 mins away from each other again! It’s been a wild ride visiting you in New Orleans and Chicago and you coming to Boston and SF but what a monumental year 2023 will be for us! I am so happy to call you not only a friend but my brother.
Groomsman
Gif King, monumental memories my friend. From meeting you in 2014 to living with you, every Friday and Saturday night, for what felt like a decade, roaming the streets of Boston without a care in the world. Your wedding was one that will forever live in infamy, but now it seems it’s my turn and I am so excited to have you stand up there with me.
Groomsman
Vandal, from the early days of David Prouty/Quabbin, chatting about Thursday, and other bands during a soccer game, to our friendship, call it a brotherhood, 15+ years later, I am just so lucky to have a friend like you. You are a true definition of a forever friend no matter how much time lapses in between.
Groomsman
Matthew, this excerpt could fill novels and encyclopedias for all the things I could say about us. Meeting you freshman year of college, I had no idea it would change my life. You are the greatest friend, and brother, a guy like me could ever ask for. Our friendship may go many months and even years without seeing each other but we always pick it right back up like it was yesterday.
BIL/Groomsman
BIL, so much history between us. I never had a brother before you, but I cannot think of someone more perfect for that role. In a way, we’ve grown up together. You’ve taught me a lot about beer, endless sports discussions, as well as the comfort you give me knowing my sister is the most loved and safest with you.
BIL/Groomsman
BIL, here we go!! You are truly a brother to me and it’s been such a pleasure getting to know you over the years. You’ve taught me a lot about beer, helped me through some sports injuries, and most importantly, while I am many miles away, you love my sister and keep her safe! I wish I could relive your wedding as it was full of love, good beer, and so much fun.
Officiant/BIL/Groomsman
Brother to Veronica, and future BIL to Chris, we couldn't think of a more perfect person to stand up in front of everyone and beautifully orchestrate the start of our marriage. We love you so much Jesse.
