Flight
Santorini Airport is small and most easily reached via a short connecting flight. Located approximately 4 miles from Fira, the island’s main city center, the drive is typically 10–15 minutes by car or taxi.
Travel Note
Transportation in Santorini can be limited, especially during peak hours and around sunset. We recommend downloading one or more local taxi apps before arrival for the easiest way to get around. As Santorini is a smaller airport, most itineraries will include a short connecting flight. Thursday, August 20, 2026: Suggested hotel check-in. Full wedding weekend details and timing can be found in The Wedding Weekend tab. Sunday, August 23 or Monday, August 24, 2026: Recommended departure dates, depending on your travel plans.

For those visiting Greece for the first time and not staying at Nous Santorini, we suggest accommodations closer to the city center for a more seamless experience around the island. Please note that many Santorini properties are built into the cliffs and often feature stairs and uneven pathways. Hotel recommendations can be found below.
