All wedding events will take place outdoors. August in Greece is typically warm and dry, with daytime temperatures around 85–95°F and evenings near 75–80°F. We recommend dressing with the climate in mind.
Formal attire is requested. Given the outdoor August setting, we recommend lightweight fabrics, refined silhouettes, and footwear suited for warm weather and uneven terrain. Jeans and sneakers are not permitted. A note on color: blue is being held exclusively for two very special people. We kindly ask guests to select another hue. We recommend arriving in Greece on Thursday, August 20, 2026. As Santorini is a smaller airport, most itineraries will include a short connecting flight. Departure is recommended on August 23 or 24. Full details can be found in 'The Wedding Weekend' tab.
Guests are welcome to choose a hotel or Airbnb that suits their travel style. For first-time visitors not staying at Nous Santorini, we suggest accommodations closer to the city center. Please note that many Santorini properties are built into the cliffs, often featuring steps and uneven pathways.
Your passport should be valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure from Greece. We recommend checking expiration dates early.
Guests traveling with a U.S. passport do not need a visa for short stays. Guests traveling with a Dominican Republic passport, including those with U.S. permanent residency, will need to obtain a Schengen visa in advance. ETIAS is not required for travel during our wedding dates.
Processing typically takes 15–30 days, though timing may vary based on appointment availability. For travel in August 2026, we recommend beginning the process by May or June.
