FAQs

Below are answers to common questions you may have about attending our wedding! We'll keep updating this regularly!
Question

What will your last name be?

Answer

New family, new last name! We are combining our last names, so starting on October 12, we will officially be Corey and Samantha Eberland!

Question

Are my children invited?

Answer

No, this is an adult-only occasion. Exceptions are being made only to children in our wedding party. If your invitation is addressed to "The ___ Family," or includes "& family" then everyone in your household is invited. Everyone included with your invitation will also be listed by name when you go to RSVP. We hope you can make arrangements to leave the little ones at home so you can celebrate with us!

Question

May I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We can only accommodate those listed, by name, on the invitation you received in the mail. Their name will also be listed when you RSVP online. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding day?

Answer

Black-Tie Optional We know this can be confusing, so what does this mean to us? It means we are getting dolled up and we hope you will too - dress to impress, wear your best! Ladies: Formal or fancy dresses that are midi or maxi length. We would love see your nicest dresses! Men: If you own a tuxedo, we'd love to see you wear it. Otherwise, a Dark Suit with a Tie will be perfect. There is no need to go out and rent a tuxedo for this event. No jeans, khakis, shorts, polos/short-sleeves, sneakers or flip-flops. Please avoid shades of white.

Question

I forgot to RSVP on time! Can I still come?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by September 1, we will take that as a firm "RSVP No, Declines with Regrets" and we will not have a seat or a meal for you at our wedding. We do not have time to reach out to everyone individually once this date has past, so thank you for respecting and adhering to our deadlines and timelines!

Question

What is the dress code for the rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks?

Answer

If you're invited to our rehearsal dinner, we are suggesting a "dressy casual." This means sundresses, cocktail dresses, jumpsuit, or dressy separates for the ladies. Khakis or slacks, with a button down or polo for the men. No need to wear a tie or jacket. These are just examples to help guide your outfit choices! For those just attending our welcome drinks: This is definitely a casual event and will be partially outside. We want you to come in whatever you are most comfortable in. Keep in mind it is October and may be chilly once the sun goes down, so we recommend bringing layers if you are prone to being cold.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have arranged a variety of accommodation options at nearby hotels- please check out the "Travel" page for more information! That said, we recommend booking your stay early if you know you'll be RSVPing yes!

Question

Will transportation be available to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We've arranged shuttle service to/from the Beach Club for guests staying at the following Kent Island Hotels - Best Western, Holiday Inn Express, and the Hilton Garden Inn. We will NOT be providing transportation to/from the Quality Inn in Grasonville, so please plan a safe ride accordingly. If you are staying here and plan to rely on ride-shares, we recommend scheduling the Uber/Lyft/Taxi in advance.

Question

Can I park at the venue?

Answer

Definitely! There is free parking onsite at the Beach Club. We want you to have fun but it is most important that you get home safe - so if you choose to partake in libations, you may also leave your car at the Beach Club over night without consequences.

Question

May I take pictures at your ceremony?

Answer

No. We are having an "unplugged ceremony," and are kindly asking guests to keep phones and tablets in their bags until after we say 'I-Do'! We hired a photographer so you can be fully present at our ceremony. Once we have our first kiss, you are welcome to take as many pictures as your heart desires! Samantha feels very strongly about not having pictures of your phone screens in her ceremony photos. Do your part, and help keep the Bride happy!!!

Question

How do I get to the venue from the airport?

Answer

We are not providing shuttle service from any of the local airports to the Hotels. There should be Uber/Lyfts/Taxi's available, but these may be costly depending on which airport you choose and arrival time. You may want to look into a car rental or arranging a carpool with your family/friends that are also flying to the wedding.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5 pm. So we are asking everyone to be here by 4:45 pm so we can get everyone seated and start on time. We will start without you if you are late!

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you require a Kosher meal or have major dietary restrictions/allergies, please indicate this on your RSVP. Gluten free and vegetarian options will be available as part of the regular menu. If you have a child invited, we have them down for a kids meal!
