Jeremy and Courtney began communicating via Facebook! Jeremy sent his first Facebook message to Courtney in 2011. He was very persistent in wanting to get to know Courtney, even though 85% of the time she would not respond to his messages. They randomly met in-person for the first time one night at Jillian’s in 2015, but at the time they were both in a relationship. A formal “Hey, how are you? Nice to actually meet you,” took place that night, and that was the end of it. Once they became single again, Jeremy decided to reach back out via Facebook. After a year of on & off communication via Facebook, Jeremy & Courtney exchanged phone numbers. Their first date was on June 6, 2016 at Monterrey’s Mexican Restaurant on Killian Rd. After 6 months of getting to know each other, they began dating on December 30, 2016. They have been happy ever since.

Jeremy surprised Courtney with a proposal by planning a family and friends cook-out at their home. Courtney was so busy prepping, she didn’t notice the small signs that day that this would be the beginning of her planning her forever with the love of her life. Jeremy asked Courtney to join him in front of their family & friends to propose a toast to Courtney’s mother for starting a new job. After congratulating his future mother-in-law, Jeremy grabbed Courtney by the arm and said, “Courtney, you’re the best thing that has ever happened to me. You speak to the best parts of me. I’m not going to make this long & drawn out…Courtney, will you marry me?” And you know she said, “Yes!”

Jeremy and Courtney are so excited to get married, and they can’t wait to have their family & friends witness this special moment in their lives. They’ve talked about marriage for the past 3 years now, and with God, patience & guidance, they are ready to tie the knot! They love love, and they love each other even more.
