It's honestly incredible how fate does its thing! Two very different people, always so close, yet so far. Who knew we would be pulled together? While she graduated from the University of Chicago in June 2016, he matriculated there in August 2016 for his Master's degree. She left for new adventures in Seoul, South Korea, in February 2017; he went back home to Seoul in August 2017. Two hearts, unknowingly following the same path, yet never quite meeting. Still, fate would bring them together thereafter beginning January 2018. (Super like, anyone?). After three dates, he would ask her to be his. ...But three dates were not quite enough for her. (Like, chill out Rex...) Soon, they would be separated yet again by ocean in March 2018. But, not for long, for in May that year, fate got angry and finally shoved them together once and for all. (I guess Brianna wasn't chill either.) A year and a half later, marriage was on the table. Seems fast, huh? Trust me, by Korean standards, three days is all it takes to get together. Fast forward nearly three years, and here we are in 2022, finally celebrating our marriage with a beautiful "wedding" ceremony. Not time, space, nor even a pandemic can keep love apart! We are currently married, but due to the pandemic, we have been unable to hold a ceremony. Though it may be three years in, we would like to treat this "wedding" just like any other and have a great time with the ones we love. We look forward to partying with you in April!
