It all started in the summer of 2015 at a barbershop, where Jesus (better known to me as “Jampi”) and I met for the first time. The moment our eyes met, there was an instant connection like we both knew we were meant to be in each other’s lives. He slipped me his number on a small piece of paper, signed “Jampi,” and from that day forward, that’s what I’ve called him. We started young. I was 19, and he was 21 and life took us on quite the journey. We faced ups and downs, grew apart, and found our way back to one another after learning, healing, and growing. What’s always made our love special is that no matter how far life took us, it always led us back into each other’s arms. This time around, we’ve learned the true meaning of love, one that’s built on faith, forgiveness, and putting God at the center of everything we do. It’s His grace that has guided us, strengthened us, and brought us to this beautiful chapter of our lives. On August 9, 2025, surrounded by family, friends, and a beautiful setting filled with roses, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. And now, here we are, ready to start the next chapter of our story, hand in hand, with God leading the way. “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” Mark 10:9
