Jazmin and I first met each other in 6th grade. We were in a group project together and I apparently didn't allow anyone else in the group to do the work 😅 Fast forward to middle school, we hung out and talked more since we had multiple classes together. It wasn't until freshman of high school that we got to know each other and realized how similar our upbringings were, the values we held, and the goals we had in life. We became the best of friends!

I think there’s beauty in the fact that Jazmin and I can’t remember exactly when or how we met. We were little 5 year olds in elementary school but we just clicked from the start. From playing charmed, making a radio show, making the cheerleading squad, to being there throughout every single stage of each other’s lives, this friendship is meant to last a lifetime. It’s been 25+ years and I can’t wait to continue celebrating each other’s life accomplishments.
