Ivan: We spent 4 years going to the same high school, going in and out of the same building, and having mutual friends and acquaintances but we never said a single word to each other. Jazmin: No really, we shared the same hallway at school and nothing. Ivan: Our story didn’t start until more than 8 years after high school. Looks like fate didn’t think we were ready for each other yet. Jazmin: We even lived on the same street in Dallas the year before we officially met, it’s crazy. Ivan: It’s the kind of story that is just crazy enough that it has to be true; one night I got a ton of notifications that she "liked" a lot of my pictures on Instagram and so naturally, I liked a lot of her pictures back in what seemed like a battle of who would say something first. Eventually I sent her a message and soon after we arranged for our first date at a local pizza spot. I played the “cool guy” and did a whole lot of talking but it was just enough to keep the dates coming. Jazmin: Little did he know, my friends were incognito at a nearby table keeping an eye on us the whole time! Ivan: Before you know it, we were inseparable and I couldn’t wait to see her even after just dropping her off after our dates. The more we spent time, we found that we had similar outlooks on what we wanted in life and for our future. Jazmin: A.K.A we realized we were the same kind of crazy Ivan: From then on I knew she was the one I had been waiting for all my life. We were so close yet so far throughout our lives, and now we will have a lifetime together.
