Come kick off the wedding weekend with us! Our officiant, Dave Damiani, will be hosting a public event at Lou Lou's Jungle Room at the Lafayette Hotel with Carter and the No Vacancy Orchestra. This event is open to the public, and of course, all of our guests! Anyone who is in town early for the wedding weekend is encouraged to come and start the celebration with us at this stunning, historic venue. Ticket information can be found at loulous.turntabletickets.com. This event is 21+ with bar services available. Food is not available at the venue, however there are two restaurants located inside the hotel and many close by. This venue is approximately 15 minutes from Ocean Beach. No dress code, cocktail attire suggested by venue. If you have time, we highly recommend exploring the maximalist decor inside the Lafayette Hotel.

Our ceremony will take place outdoors on the cliffside at Sunset Cliffs, overlooking the Pacific Ocean! Ceremony will take place on the cliffs next door to the Inn at Sunset Cliffs!
Attire: Dressy Coastal / Garden Party Think nice for a wedding, but make it San Diego. Breezy dresses, colorful suit jackets, linen, and anything that feels celebratory by the ocean. Midi/maxi dresses and suit jackets are recommended but not required, and ties are optional—please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and festive. Our ceremony will take place at a beautiful cliffside with ocean views, followed by a reception next door on the Inn at Sunset Cliff’s outdoor oceanfront patio and garden. We’ll be on natural cliffside terrain and outdoor spaces all evening, so we recommend comfortable shoes or block heels for easier walking. April weather can be unpredictable—warm sunshine, cool breezes, or a mix—so layers are your friend. A jacket or wrap will help you stay comfortable as the temperature shifts into the evening. The cliffs can be exposed during the day, so sunglasses are a great idea if it’s sunny. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Join us for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing immediately following the ceremony. This will be located at the Inn at Sunset Cliffs on their outdoor oceanfront patio and garden. Street parking available along Sunset Cliffs Boulevard and surrounding neighborhood.
10:00 pm
Join us for an after-party at the heated pool at the Inn! The party will transition to the pool when the reception ends at 10pm. The bar will remain open as self-serve, so feel free to pour yourself a drink and keep the celebration going. Swimsuits encouraged!
