Welcome to the Mile High City! Please take a moment to prepare for the effects of altitude. - We recommend traveling into Denver on Thursday, July 9th so that you are fully acclimated (and ready to party!) by the time of the wedding. Remember that 1 drink at altitude = 2 drinks at sea level. Please party responsibly. - We recommend waiting until your second day to explore any hikes & mountain towns that are located higher than 8,000 feet. - If you know you are sensitive to altitude, please reach out to your doctor to see what precautionary medicine is available to you.
Train
Getting from Arvada to downtown is easy and affordable thanks to Denver's light rail system. The train comes every 30 minutes, with the schedule linked below. Download the RTD App to buy a ticket or use the in-person kiosk. Take the light rail east from the Olde Town Arvada station to the last stop, Union Station in downtown Denver. To return, take the G Line west until you get to Olde Town Arvada Station.
