There are many options, check the "Where Should I Stay?" page for a brief overview. The Claybrook Hotel at Sugarbush is right at the the reception venue and has a variety of rooms (large enough for a family or group to split). The Sugarbush Inn is a little more budget friendly and only 1/2 mile away from the reception. There are a number of on-site condos for rent through Sugarbush, VRBO, Airbnb, etc. If you're looking for something larger. There are also many, many vacation rentals nearby. If you're searching on your own, search for places in Warren. Sugarbush is in Warren and most accommodations you'll find in Warren will be along the access road to the mountain (some might even be on the property). Rentals in Waitsfield and Fayston are also easy driving distance (15 minutes or less). Avoid rentals or hotels in Lincoln, Starksboro, Bristol, etc. - they'll show up as being close by in search results, but they're on the opposite side of the ridge and can only be accessed by winding mountain roads through some of Vermont's notorious "gaps" (fun for a day drive, not great at night).
Our dress code is Cocktail Attire - we know we've got a sharp looking guest list! Also, evenings in Vermont can get chilly, even in early October. We'd suggest bringing a coat, shawl, wrap, etc. to keep you warm if the temperature dips in the evening.
No, we're keeping the celebrations adults-only and we appreciate your understanding. That said, please bring your little ones with you for the weekend! There's plenty to see/do in the area and it will make for a wonderful family weekend. We've identified several local vetted and background checked babysitting options. Here's a current list of local babysitters (copy/paste the link into your browser): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Avz-IGoev-ktDGRclQkQlen5fApsYk__/view?usp=sharing Feel free to coordinate with other parents to do group sitters. The condos on the mountain would be ideal for larger groups. However, if you're planning on stopping by the Welcome Party on Saturday, please feel free to bring your little ones!
Unfortunately, no. Sugarbush is a cashless resort - they only accept credit/debit cards at all bars, restaurants, stores, etc. Please plan accordingly!
Unfortunately, the ceremony venue does not permit buses or shuttles. It's a pretty scenic 15 minute drive between the ceremony and reception. There is ample parking, but we'd recommend carpooling. Rideshares and taxis are essentially non-existent in the area.
What, the wedding wasn't enough for you? Kidding! There's a ton to do in the area. From restaurants to ice cream, mountains to waterfalls, there's plenty for everyone (we'd suggest making a long weekend of it). Check out the "things to do" page for some of our suggestions.
