Matron of Honor
Martine Prevost-Charles, second cousin of the bride. Lauren's Maternal Grandfather and Martine's Father were brothers ( both deceased). I live in Maryland with my husband, and two daugthers, the youngest Camrine is Lauren's goddaughter. The family bond is tight despite distance and what makes the moment of being asked to be the Matron of Honor is that Lauren was my Junior Bridesmaid at my wedding. I affectionately and lovingly call Lauren my Ti-pitit (creole for little child). So proud of the woman you are! can't wait to celebrate on the special day. #familylove #followmehome2017
Best Man
Hey, it's Edem Kponvi. A stranger to Josh in the beginning of 9th grade, but a brother in the basketball locker room. Competition, motivation, and creation got us to become family. Over the past 13 years of watching my "BruhBruh" grow, I can truly say that he's more than ready for Dec. 2nd. He woke up one day knowing God sent him the lovely Lauren, and cut all his rubbish out! I was so ecstatic 😂. I appreciate you for letting me be a part of #FollowMeHome17 for a lifetime🙏🏿.
Maid of Honor
Keisia Brianna, room mate and close friend of the bride for 12 years. Lauren and I first met at church in San Antonio and have been friends ever since. We've been through each others changes in life and continue to support each other through thick and thin.
Best Man
Cedric, best friend of the groom. I've known Josh for 27 years going on 28 he has been there from day one and I've been there for him. It's like we went from best friends to being brothers and I know I share things with him that I wouldn't share with anybody else and vice versa. Lauren, the first time I met her she just said "Hi" but after getting to know her she gave off this warm vibe. She is a loving person and has always been there for me from the time we met. When I first found out that they were dating I took her in as family because she took it upon herself to get to know me other than what Josh had shared with her about me so I think that played a big part to our friendship. Y'all know I love you and would do anything for you Congratulations!
Bridesmaid
Tiffany, mutual friend of both bride and groom. Hey, my name is Tiffany Bradshaw-Kponvi, Edem's wife. Lauren came into my life and automatically became a beautiful friend of mine. I knew she was the one for Josh when we got to take our first real vacation as a couple to Vegas, and I saw how they treated one another with so much love and respect. I'm excited for her to join the once in a lifetime club and expand our families! I'm honored to play a role on the special day, and hope for more! Congrats darling!!
Groomsman
My name is Lexy Malbrue I am the big cousin to Joshua and the favortie cousin-n-law to Lauren. I am the fly cousin out of Josh's family. I am truly happy that Josh finally got it together and saw his queen was right in his face all this time. I look forward to being at and in this wedding to see two great people unite. I'll try my best to control the sauce dripping, so Josh can have a little shine on his big day lol... Love you both and I am very happy to see you tie the knot
Bridesmaid
Rebecca Bandele, sister of the groom. I still don't call her Lauren, as she knows, but I met Lo in her silver Rav 4 aka Jaylen. I was extremely quiet as I rode in the back seat wondering who this 5'2 light skinned girl was. She wondered if I was always quiet like that, but she soon found out I am almost NEVER that quiet. She has been there for several milestones in my life and has always been there for me through the highs and the lows. S/o to my favorite person in the world, my Future Me for finally marrying the girl of our dreams lol #goals 😍 Congrats Lo, I love you! ❤️
Groomsman
Andre, brother of the bride. Andre's number one rule was that Lauren wasn't allowed to date until she got married. Then the rule changed to Lauren isn't allowed to date until she turns 35. Thankfully when Olufemi came along Andre was willing to bend the rules a little bit. His words "She's in GREAT hands" meant the world to the lovely bride to be and will be forever cherished. His insert below: "I guess I'll let you grow up 😔. I'm Proud of you baby girl...Wish you nothing but the best ❤️❤️"
Bridesmaid
Rachel Bandele, sister of the groom. The first time I met Lauren was when she pulled up in my drive way. As a little sister you already know I didn't like her before she even stepped out of the car. It took time, food, some mani/pedis and several sleepovers, but eventually, she became the older sister I've always wanted. Congratulations for not only winning my brothers heart, but my heart as well. I love you.

Flower Girl
Hadassah, goddaughter of both bride and groom. Is three years old and is affectionately and lovingly called Pumpkin by Olufemi. Full of excitement she jumped into Lauren's arms when she heard the news of their engagement. Quickly asking Lauren "God mommy you getting married to god daddy?" She hugged Lauren tight once she received her confirmation. She is excited to walk along side of her friend Layla as Flower Girl. Her insert below: "I love my god daddy and I'm happy that he ask god mommy to marry us"
Flower Girl
Layla, niece of the groom. Layla is three years old and calls Lauren Kee LoLo, LoLo, Auntie Lo. It really depends on the day. She walked up to Lauren after church asking "LO!! You get married to my Uncle Josh?" Pleased that she hadn't missed anything she gave Lauren a big hug and kiss. She is currently practicing her walk and is excited to walk along side of her friend Hadassah as Flower Girl. Her insert below: "Kee LoLo, am I going to wear a princess dress like Elsa? I'm riding my bike, my 3 Wheel down the aisle in my princess dress. Ok! I love you LoLo"
Ring Bearer
Peyton Kristopher, nephew of the bride. Peyton is two years old, and affectionately calls Lauren Tante (he put a twist on his French for Auntie). He has a strong interest in the drums but much like his aunt he has love for all instruments. His love for music and beats help bond a unique relationship with Olufemi. Peyton loves to FaceTime and gets a kick out of seeing his Uncle Josh as Olufemi affectionately calls Peyton "P Man".
