Great view of Seneca lake!
Standing Stone recently renovated their tasting room. Great scenery. We love their ice wine. Their Saperavi is a good dry red and they make nice Rieslings and Gewurztraminer.
Enjoy more breathtaking views from this Greek inspired tasting room. Riesling, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Franc are favorite wine varietals to enjoy.
Great spot for lunch! Weather permitting, enjoy from the patio with a terrific view of Seneca Lake.
For a change of pace, stop here to enjoy some nice brews and maybe take a growler to go.
Another terrific lunch spot. Grab a pint with a pizza and you'll be ready for the rest of your day!
If you're in the mood for something a little stronger, make sure you stop here for handcrafted whiskey and vodka.
Located right next to Atwater Winery, Two Goats is a dive bar with a scenic patio.
Recently discovered on our last trip, Lakewood Vineyards was a complete surprise. Home to several fun loving dogs, as well as some great Sparkling and Riesling options.
Our favorite place in the Finger Lakes, Wiemer Vineyard is located on the west side of Seneca Lake and happens to be where we got engaged. There really isn't a bad wine on the list, dry to sweet, as well as Sparklings. For perspective, Wiemer is 30 minutes from the wedding venue, 15 minutes from Watkins Glen, and 25 minutes from Geneva. We will also be serving their wines at the wedding.
If you can get past the mediocre and less than stellar customer service, Shaw's dry reds are exceptional! He specializes in offering reds that are aged, some up to nine years. One of only two wineries that comes to mind that make wine this way.
A favorite winery, make sure you try the Lemberger and Cabernet Franc.
Cozy little tasting room, decent wines on their list.
Ravines has two tasting rooms. This location and their primary spot on the east side of Keuka Lake (the lake to the west of Seneca Lake). If we had a choice, we would go to the primary Keuka Lake tasting room for the spectacular lake view. That said, we included this tasting room so you can still enjoy their wines if you don't want to travel the 40 minutes to Keuka Lake. Maximilien and Le Petit Caporal are two of our favorite red wines to enjoy. They also make some stellar Rieslings.
Lake Drum is a casual bar, with a great selection of local brews. It has a good vibe and was one of our favorite places for beer.
Don't let the gravel road fool you! Take the time to visit this gem on the east side of Seneca Lake. Learn about the area on the many information tiles around the tasting room. While Cabernet Franc and Riesling are must trys, make sure you enjoy an ice wine also. And if you have the time, grab a glass to enjoy outside, while you take in a spectacular view of Seneca Lake.
Ports is located on the northwest part of Seneca Lake, 5 minutes from Geneva. Great location for a nice, sit down dinner. This is one of our favorite restaurants.
Kindred Fare is perfect for a nice dinner. Everything on the menu is excellent. Try to get one of the four counter seats that overlook the kitchen.
Red Dove is a gastro pub in Geneva.
