We recommend garden semi-formal attire such as sundresses/cocktail dresses, suits and general garden party wear. Please dress appropriately for an outdoor wedding, and please avoid jeans and colors traditionally reserved for the bride (white, ivory, and cream). Keep in mind when it comes to choosing footwear that portions of the festivities will be outside!
The ceremony starts at 4 pm. We ask that you arrive 30-60 minutes before our ceremony to give yourself time to park and arrive to the area we will be holding the ceremony at. We will be starting on time and want everyone to be settled before we begin! There are multiple places on site to sit down, get a drink, etc..
We will only be able to accommodate plus ones as indicated on your invitation. For example, if you have a +1, your invitation will be listed as "Mr./Miss XYZ and guest." If you are confused, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will see if you have a +1! We want everyone to share in the celebration and this will ensure that we're surrounded by our close friends & family. We appreciate everyone's understanding! We are having an *unplugged* ceremony! This means we kindly ask that ALL phones and other devices be put away and placed on *silent/off* so we and our guests can be fully present. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture this special moment. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want!
We love your kids but are making this an adults-only celebration, so we respectfully request no little ones on this day! We hope everyone is able to take this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun night out & night off.
Yes, parking will be available onsite and free, with directional signs along the way. Please tell the parking attendant you are here for the Flowers Royster wedding. Please also ask an employee for directions to the South Ridge if needed! We strongly encourage rideshares like Lyft and Uber if you will be drinking! More detailed instructions will be sent closer to wedding weekend.
Please tell the parking attendant you are attending the Royster/Flowers wedding. You should be directed to park in a lot that is a short walk to the South Ridge, where our ceremony will be held. Reception will begin immediately after the ceremony at the Overlook Barn, a short walk from ceremony site.
Open bar on us! Our venue serves craft beer, domestic beer, and red and white wines.
