We're getting married!

David and I first met at the end of March 2023 when we both swiped right on Hinge (he sent me a virtual rose). We exchanged a few messages and made plans for our first date on Thursday, April 6. Going against my usual rules, I let him pick me up from my house in Belmont because no one from Shelby could possibly be dangerous, and I was already getting good vibes from him. That date lasted 6 hours and we went to NoDa Company Store, Idlewild and Ever Andalo. Our last first date and it was perfect! I texted my brother that night and told him how good it was going - our 2nd date was at Cellar at Duckworth's (a 4 hour dinner), and by the 3rd date (a concert at the Music Factory), I'd told some of my friends that I'd met my husband. The proposal happened on February 21 at sunset at his grandparent's house in Lattimore. I thought that day that there might be a chance he was proposing later, but I figured I must be wrong because who gets it right on the first guess. I looked for a ring box in his pocket but didn't see one, turns out he had a slimline box and tricked me. It was the perfect night and our parents & other family members were inside ready to eat and celebrate with us. The next week, we celebrated in France & Spain and came back ready to plan a wedding!! The thought of spending forever with David is the most exciting and comforting thing to ever happen to me and is the easiest decision I have made. Before meeting David, I wasn't sure that the feeling people talked about was going to happen for me, but it is undeniably real and has already been the honor of my life to know and grow with him. The support has been resounding and we are SO excited to celebrate with everyone!
