Officiant
Nathan has known Pauline for almost his entire life. Growing up, she was the pastor's wife at the church he went to and hosted a lot of game nights for the youth group. Pauline is a retired teacher and tutor from Las Positas College and taught Nathan and his other friends a public speaking course while in high school. Coincidentally, Pauline and Larry were with Nathan's parents when we called to tell them about our engagement! We are excited to have her officiate our wedding and create more happy memories!
Matron of Honor
“Stephanie and I met when we were young university kids at Cal Poly Pomona. We bonded over many things including stress over un-ideal roommates, and helped each other keep up with our faith with God. We shared many moments together including just sitting in the parked car ranting about people and other weird things…to partying it up in Vegas or grabbing Mimosas on those perfect Saturday mornings. I always loved our double dates and looking forward to many more. Stephanie has always been there through thick and thin, and recently supported me through my grief over the recent death of my big husky-bulldog Meeko. There’s so much more I can say about Stephanie- so I’ll cut it short right here and say we are two double trouble Tauruses! I was also her maid of honor for her wedding and it did terrify me to give a toast- so Stephanie, here’s to getting back at you. It’s gonna be your turn soon to give your ‘cheers’!” - Hannah
Best Man
“I met Noah shortly after he moved back home from his military assignment. Since then we bonded over cigars, hookah, whiskey, gaming, and memes. I always liked hearing his unhinged stories of his adventures and interesting times. There’s never a dull conversation with Noah- from work things to politics..to some things about gambling. He even talked me into playing blackjack in the casino for the first time (I won)..and I talked him into adopting his new kitten Wednesday. Now we know a lot about each other and bro is gonna give us the best wedding toast!!” - Nathan
