We can’t really remember the details but we met in 2014 when we were young university kids, in Cal Poly Cru’s worship team - something like that. We played music together, saw each other in retreats and meetings, and crossed paths on campus, but nothing special yet back then. After Cal Poly University, we went our own ways, but we kept in touch through social media. We started texting each other a lot in 2020. In 2021 we reconnected in person by meeting up in Santa Barbara, where Nathan lived at that time. After our reconnection, we kept visiting and spending a lot of time with each other until Nathan asked Hannah to be his girlfriend. Fast forward to 3 years later, Nathan asked Hannah the special question on a rowboat, at a lake in the Santa Cruz mountains. From traveling the world to growing wildflower gardens in our front yard; from building LEGO sets to crying over Nathan’s grad school assignments; from caring for our big boy Meeko and our kittens, Beanie Baby and Puma, to spending time out in nature — from fine dining to cooking great meals at home, from listening to music to composing our own, from cheering each other on through career milestones to supporting one another through work frustrations — we wouldn’t trade our special moments for anything!
